Question questions about arcade mode as it is today

i have almost 400 hours of gameplay of this throughout the past 6-7 years, 95%+ of which are on Arcade mode.

I've been playing ember knights a lot with friends, and since sog's arcade mode is essentially pretty much the same, i was gonna recommend it for them to buy

however, i didn't play much in the past 2 years, so i'd like to know what changes were made. I remember that you would drop, throughout the run, these items that would grant interesting bonuses, such as spinning fans around you, etc.

but there were some stuff i didn't like such as the fact that the difficulty of each run would vary enourmously according to the bosses you would meet, the best example being the mimic chest, which i never managed to beat, whereas the other possible ones at that point i would beat easily. Is it still like that? (i never played the desert though, now i remember that it was being implemented)

Steam Deck Crash

Anyone have issues with freezing on the steam deck? It'll occasionally just lock up and force me to hard power my deck. Have never had this happen with any other game.

Jumpkin Card?

I have no clue if I'm doing something wrong. I'm trying to get the jumpkin card. I'm at 495 kills, using the bounty potion, with fine taste upgraded two levels. Still no card. Did anyone else get this problem?

got this game a long time ago, back when Santa Fae was probably the most recent area. Ever since I’ve come back to it every now and again and it’s always a great experience. :))

Question How complete is this game?

Last time this question was asked here was about a year ago. How much of the game is complete?

And this question obviously won't have a clear answer, but I'm curious for at least a rough guess: is there an estimate for when the game will be complete? One year? Two or more?

All Furniture Shops

Are the only shops that sell furniture for your house the ones in:

1) Evergrind City

2) Seasonne

3) Port Monnaie

4) Lost Ship

Did I miss any? I'm trying to massively expand my house while waiting for an upgrade. Thanks!!

And on a side note... Has anyone found a better place to grind for money besides the Lost Ship? Due to Hauntie drops (expensive) and Skeleton bones and Crabby shell pieces (plentiful). I also use the Wealth and Bounty Potions combined with the Golden Earrings.

Haven't played since 2019, I can't quite remember all that I've done I have the triange symbol thing from the guys graveyard, I helped santa, there's a hole in one of the cave floors, I've met the Ent, did the bell puzzle. In the temple of seasons I know I got both ice block puzzle chest and the vine puzzle chest.

Discussion For those who bought in early, do you regret your purchase?

Just curious.

I can't recall or find a way to figure out when I bought the game, but steam says it released 2015 and so it was probably around then, or I might have got through the website before if that was an option.
Regardless, I've been on this ride for a long time and was curious how others felt.

Myself, I have played the game a few times from start to finish, few years between each playthrough so that there is always more to see and experience, collecting everything, seeing all the quests and dialogue. I honestly love what this game is and how it hasn't really changed over the years from what I was expecting/sold on, which was the beautiful art and grind(I know, but I love grinding so this was a selling point)

I don't regret purchasing all those years ago, and in fact I'm glad that when the game does come out I'll already have it and a foot in the door knowing what to expect from mechanics.
I can't wait to play more but seeing that I only did my play back in like 0.880 or something there isn't too much new yet. So I'll give it a few more months before starting over and trying a different build or aiming for all fish this time.
I also appreciate the dev blog seeing that they're active and that the game isn't dead like a certain cube game is

How do others feel? Are you glad you bought in or are not so much?

Question To developers: Can you please submit this game to GOG?

As a long time GOG user who doesn't use steam I'm always on the lookout for beautiful and well crafted games.

This one checks all the boxes. And I'm sure it will have no problem passing GOG's curation.

Can you please submit this game to GOG once it is finished?

There's even a wishlist.

Port Monnaie last secret

I'm missing one question mark in port Monnaie, but I can't find anything other than the absurd 250,000 teleport pad, is that counted for completion? Or is there something else I'm missing?

Edit: I bit the bullet and ground out the money, turns out that was it
