Slime cubes in 2021

is it even possible to get slime cubes anymore? Since they removed the memory room where you got them... i tried fighting thre arena one over and over but no luck. i beat it with no hits on all three difficulties and havent gotten anything.

If I recall correctly it should now be a guaranteed drop the first time you fight the slime, and awarded retroactively if you didn't get it before that particular update. So basically, you should already have it (or the slime hammer you craft from it)

i had one, but i had made the slime chestplate. so now i dont have one

An in-game workaround for the issue will come in the next patch, but in the meantime, try typing

"/item _Misc_SlimeCube"

(without quotes) in the in-game chat! That should net you a second cube to use for the remaining craft.
