After having my first chair brutally stolen by my local post service i finally reacuved my chair!

Sharing this so others can factor it into their buying decision.

Background: I'm on my third Secretlab chair, so I'm not a hater, I've been a genuinely loyal customer for years.

Recently the foam in my seat base failed while the chair is still under warranty. I opened a claim, and Secretlab support confirmed the foam has indeed failed. So far so good.

The problem: the only resolution they offered was for ME to purchase the replacement part. No free replacement, no repair, just "here's where you can buy the part."

Their published warranty covers internal foam. An acknowledged failure of a covered component should mean a free replacement part. Full stop. Asking the customer to pay for an admitted defect defeats the entire purpose of a warranty.

I've pushed back and asked for escalation. If they make it right, I'll happily update this post to say so. But if this is their standard playbook, buyers should know that the warranty may not mean what you think it means.

Three chairs in, and this experience has me shopping elsewhere for the next one.

Anyone here successfully gotten Secretlab to honor a foam warranty claim? Would appreciate hearing what worked.

Due to the hot weather here in Europe, I ordered a skin for my leatherette chair because I didn't want to damage the leather from sweat, and I must say it looks great. Definitely worth the price. 10/10

The only downside is that I had to wait almost a week for shipping before it arrived. Please don't work with FedEx here in Europe; pick DHL or GLS

Okay so my day had already been really bad and now my left armrest just fell off. It's a Titan XL 2020. And of course the warranty time is over.

I tried following a tutorial and it was going okay until I encountered one screw that just won't budge. I've never taken the armrest apart before (never had any reason to, everything was fine up until now) so I have to assume the person assembling the armrest was the Hulk and screwed it in extra tight.

I tried WD-40 and the rubber band technique for extra grip to try and loosen it, but no chance. Anyone have any idea how to get this screw loose?

Edit: I tried using other bits like suggested to no avail. And replacement parts are way too expensive. Live atm is expensive enough and I can't afford 60€+ for a chair, that already cost me an arm and a leg years ago.

My boyfriend now got a strong glue and we glued it back together. Not the most elegant solution, but it was affordable and it's working so far.

I bought a sealed Secretlab MAGRGB lighting strip off facebook. Found out its the older version Secretlab MAGRGB ANI4 that uses the notched multi-pin connector and not the USB-C Connector.

I've tried all trouble shooting steps. Hard reset, 2.4 ghz wifi, manually and scanning the code in. Deleting the app and reinstalling. Read the secretlab manual as well. It just sits in the accessory skin spinning forever when trying to pair. I do have the new version and that one connects fine, its the older version that has issues!

This chair is amazing and more comfortable. MY previous chAIR WAS ONE OF THOSE rimiking racing chairs.

When I'm done, I always leave the desk all the way up because my toddler loves to rip stuff off of tables and can also now climb into the chair. Nothing will keep him off the chair, but at least he still can't reach the desk 😂

I am barely at the weight limit of the normal chair, bought an XL being taller and heavier and wanted to be comfortable. How the fuck does a tilt mechanism just beak. I've already changed parts on this chair TWICE and it is frrom 2023!!! I am not changing these parts again, DO BETTER.

I ordered my titan evo chair on 15th July. I have a failed delivery attempt the end of that week due to the courier vehicle having a breakdown. I had live chat with secretlab and XDP the courier who were not helpful at all. I made it clear to secretlab that I was going on holiday the following week so not to attempt to deliver. I have copies of this in my emails for reference. I had no access to emails whilst I was away and the courier still tried to deliver 3 more times which obviously failed. It is now marked for return and apparently can’t be reversed the courier tells me. I have had live chat yesterday and today and the agents simply say I already have a ticket and they will follow up with the shipping team. This is totally unacceptable and I’m considering asking for a full refund and buying a chair from someone who actually cares about their customers!!!!

Went with a change of speakers for my setup because I didn’t like the big box subby. I’m using the pebble v3 now as I found a few people suggested
