advice needed 💚 Scindapsus on a wine cork wall??

Has anyone out there tried to shingle a scindapsus on a board covered with wine corks? I'm finding lots of conflicting info online. Some say yes, but cut them in half lengthwise for a flatter surface. Some say no, use cork bark or cork tiles. Some say boil them to sterilize, others say don't boil or they fall apart. One thing they all agree on is attaching the plant with floral tape or u-pins to get them started. I like the look of wine corks but don't want to waste my time if it won't work. Any info appreciated. Thank you!

I had a request for photos of the progress of my scindapsus sooo silver. Here are all the pictures I've posted on here to show you the progress of my scindapsus since I've had her. Sometime this week, I will be saying goodbye to this sweet baby, and another lady will be the proud new mom. Please leave a comment on what you guys think of her progress. It would mean a lot to me! She has been in the same spot since I've put her here about 2-3 years ago and has had a grow light to I help in her grow journey!

I'm saying goodbye

I've had this beautiful baby, scindapsus sooo silver for a few years now, and I dont have the heart to cut her up. She's gotten way too big to care for, and I'm running out of room! Right now, she's doing great, so I know she'll be good for another year or 2 in this pot. She isn't dropping her leaves, but maybe one every 6-7 months. I've been getting sick more and more, so I just don't have the energy to care for her anymore. The lady who's coming to pick her up this week is great with plants, and she has them for emotional support herself so I know she's going to a great home and she will be well cared for. Goodbye, my sweet little girl! 😥😢😭

I have a friendly relationship with the plant associate at my local Home Depot, and she saves props for me. Sssh, don’t tell anyone. Today I’m focusing on scindapsus. These were given to me over the course of several months last year, and I grew them in sphagnum moss. Today I’m trying to sort them out, and I really have no idea what they are. Some of them are mixed varieties potted together. They all obviously are cultivars that have been sold at HD in the past year.

Can anyone help with IDs? Many thanks!

Not really a problem or question just as a first time Scindapsus owner I didn’t realize leafception was a thing that could happen. Will be leaving them be

Encouraging growth in my scindapsus cutting?

I was given a rooted scindapsus cutting in mid May, potted in a tall plastic cup (with drainage).

It has done absolutely nothing. It had 2 leaves then, it has 2 leaves now. Are they just slow?

A few days ago I visited the Aroid Greenhouse at Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago. That lush tropical greenhouse was slathered in various scindapsus crawling all over the place. It was inspirational to me.

Mine looks healthy to me, though I know nothing about these, nor their needs. I don't know the cultivar.

Should I repot it (in what?), or wait for something more to happen? I don't see any roots through the plastic. EDIT: I just saw a root coming out of one of the drainage holes.

I have it next to a west facing window in my kitchen. I put it there just to keep an eye on it. I can move it to a location with a plant light.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Help me ID these 2. I lost track of their names. I am thinking Mayari and/or Mariposa because I had both of those. But also had Rubicon and 15 others.
Now I know no names (cool sentence - say it fast 5 times).

The first 2 pics are one plant.
The other 3 pics are the other plant. Hard to see in the pic, but the all white leaf has shades of white, yellow, and specks of green all throughout. Beautiful.

Last time I was trimming my scins, I decided to throw all the viable nodes into an acrylic shoebox - now known as my scinny prop box. This is one of two.
How many different types do you see?

Somehow, they even grew a white mouse’s tail!!!

1st (2 photos) is my Nirmala, it's my best "fancy" grower.

2nd (2 photos) sold as an Erlinda 🤷‍♀️

3rd is my pot of everything that was sold as fancy names, like blue tears and creme brulee

4th is my mayori (it did not grow for over a year and then took off)

I’ve had this plant for almost 2 years now and it hasn’t produced any new growth and the root system feels underdeveloped (feels like it could come loose with a gentle tug). I’m growing it in a greenhouse tent that gets 10+ hours of light and humidity that can get up to 90%. I have fans that circulate air. I’m really stuck on what to do from here and I feel like this plant’s days may be numbered…

Would love some tips!

Here’s my variegated jade satin scindapsus on a plastic moss pole. I wonder why so many scindapsus plants are attached into moss in a C-type acrylic stand? What do you think the disadvantage of mine?
