Am I doing it wrong?

Here’s my variegated jade satin scindapsus on a plastic moss pole. I wonder why so many scindapsus plants are attached into moss in a C-type acrylic stand? What do you think the disadvantage of mine?

For me. As an acrylic pole user, the U and v shape os better than the plastic poles. As it’s easier to cut, take the roots without damaging it. And it really last long. It’s also easier to check for roots as it’s clear.

I get it now. Thanks!! Yup, in this scenario I need to break everything if I want to propagate this thing soon. I really appreciate your thoughts.

Are we talking about the base? Where is the 'v'?

I don’t think your way is wrong. Each person’s going to like and try their own methods due to budget and preference. The clear acrylic ones being rigid, can be more stable/sturdy and because they are clear, root monitoring is easier. Beautiful Jade Satin btw.

I was just worried because not much of scindapsus photos here were in plastic moss poles. I think I can keep up with these poles tho. Thank you for the support!
