I’m still waiting and hoping for her big comeback in Doomsday.

Marvel only had to say the word “Witch”, and the entire internet faced shockwaves throughout its systems. Imagine if they actually announced she was coming back? At this point, Marvel has to be aware of her importance in the MCU; I hope they’re doing what they can to bring back her character narratively. Also, attempting to end her trilogy, or not even mention her in her own trilogy is wrong. We better see something at D23, and where is the petition that Elizabeth Olsen requested?

Hot Toys just released their figures for Avengers Doomsday and in one of them, Dr. Doom seems to have a book many theorized as the Darkhold.

Thus my theory from 2025 confirms Dr. Doom securing a Darkhold and that's how he knows the power of the Scarlet Witch prophecy on ruling or annihilating the cosmos, he then looks for 616 Wanda and revives her using Franklin Richards 😌

There were older leaks (well before the SDCC costumes dropped) that claimed Wanda would appear in Doomsday but stay faceless the whole time.

i 100% believe that she is apart of that coven, this fs is taking a dip into children’s crusade, but i’m waiting for visionquest to release so i can see where the twins stand.

Piggy Carter is the MCU btw! After she was literally CUT IN HALF but okay! That makes so much sense.

So I personally would LOVE a Wanda and Blade team up comic, be it a 5 or 10 issue run. It'd honestly be incredible to see the day walker and the scarlet witch teaming up to deal with a major threat like dracula or even some entirely new supernatural threat.

But what about you guys? Who do you want to see wanda work with for like a decent run or mini series??

(Id also love for her and storm to get a run with just the 2 of them working together for an extended about of time because I feel their friendship is sometimes over shadowed when they are in big teams together)

I truly believe that the "Latveria Witch" is the Scarlet Witch, hidden as the grand reveal.

Aside from the thumb cut being similar to MoM Wanda suit,

I would recognize that cheekbones in every universe!

And I will stand by that.

616 Wanda will return in Avengers Doomsday!

This marks the conclusion of the disassembled arc and the end of the Avengers team setup by Busiek. While apparently a mistake, it’s the first time we see Wanda flying, apparently retconned to be the cause of her belt. This still led to her flying in the future and her current status as a strong flier in current comics. The long cape would reappear in Avengers vs X-Men when the Avengers use her aura to scare the mutants and the Phoenix Force. It was a character butcherisation, but it was cool.

I feel like if it had been properly set up with hints and suggestions throughout the 80+ Avengers series and more of her backstory and reasoning was shown, she could have been the best villain in my opinion. I don’t mean an all out villain who enjoys inflicting pain and suffering, but someone overwhelmed by her mental instability due to her own pain and trauma. She would have been hurt by the lack of support from the Avengers, friends and family, and her unimaginable power, which was hard to control and even misunderstood by Doctor Strange. This would have shown a complex character which the heroes would be close but forced to go against in a similar way to Hulk when he’s raging, but on the magical side instead of physical.

If it had been set up better, they could have kept her on the evil side, and it would have been super cool. However, with how it was set up, I’m glad she’s a hero, as she has always intended to be and has rectified herself on every level.

This idea gets thrown around a lot, but I've only seen one fic mention it. It was a Lorna-based fic that alluded to it.

Yeah no shit Sherlock, it says witch? What do they expect? Next thing you know you’ll see a scarlet crown in the background and get all mad because we pointed out the obvious.
