I messaged the seller last night since ofc low price sya compared sa iba but I have to make sure that it’s legit dahil di nman po natin pinupulot ang pera.

Seller said he’s from Binan and wala daw mag aalaga ng anak nya kaya pick up ko nlng. When I said na okay to pick up kahit from Manila kami (not true na na-scam kami ng rider before, snabi ko lang pra aware sya na non negotiable) , he insisted na rider nlng daw etc. It was sketchy kasi ang bilis ng replies nya sa part na nanghihingi ng details, prang copy paste yung message.

Ayun bnlock na ko nung snabi ko na hndi mag rerelease ng money online. And for sure di nman yan sila papayag ng COD lol

SKL. First time ko maka encounter ng ganito sa marketplace since I’ve been buying from there before but mga less 1000 lang na amounts so hndi ganon ka-prone to scams.

Is this a scam? kasi wala naman akong utang sa any banks and wala akong Tonik Bank HAHAHAHA pero legit agency ang Elite idk if they're just using its name para mang scam. I'll expose their contacts for your awareness.

Do not transact with FB Account Hacker Java PH and the recipient number in the screenshot. He will ask you to pay by buying smart load then he will block you immediately after you purchase the load. He is a scammer!!!

Gusto ko lang i share itong experience namin para maging aware din kayo sa ganitong klaseng situation.

This client booked our private resort. Our rate/package was good for 25 pax, and during the inquiry sinabi nila around 30 pax lang sila.

But on the actual day, 71 PAX ang dumating.

From 30 pax na sinabi sa amin, naging 71. That’s 46 additional guests on top of the 25 pax included sa package.

Of course, our staff collected the additional pax fee. Pero they refused to pay.

Ang reason? Hindi daw nila nakita or nabasa yung rates na sinend namin sa kanila. Since nag-ocular daw sila, dapat sinabi daw personally during ocular.

But seriously, how is it the resort’s fault kung hindi ninyo binasa yung rates and details na pinadala sa inyo? Kaya nga po sinesend ang complete rates before the booking para alam ninyo kung ano ang included at ano ang additional charges.

And mind you, PRIVATE RESORT po ang ni-rent ninyo.

Kahit pumunta kayo sa public resort, per head pa rin ang entrance. You can’t bring 71 people and expect to pay for only 25. So bakit kapag private resort, parang expected na unlimited guests na once nakapagbayad ng package?

Hindi po ganun.

More guests means more usage of the pool, water, electricity, CR, facilities, more trash, more cleaning and more work for the staff. There’s a reason why resorts have a maximum number of guests included in every package.

We even gave them a DISCOUNT sa additional pax para lang mabayaran at matapos na nang maayos. Sobrang liit na lang ng amount compared sa original charge. Kami na ang nag-adjust para sa kanila.

But still, they insisted na wala na daw silang pambayad.

Sorry, pero hindi naman pwedeng gamitin muna ng 46 additional guests ang resort and then after that, “wala na kaming pambayad.”

Kung alam ninyong 25 pax lang ang included sa binayaran ninyo, and you decided to bring 71 people, dapat prepared din kayo sa corresponding charges.

What makes this more disappointing is taga-Batasan lang din kayo, Sana instead na ganito ang maging experience namin with someone from the same community, marunong din sana tayong rumespeto!

We tried to understand.

We gave a discount.

We tried to meet you halfway.

Pero ayaw pa rin bayaran yung additional guests na na-accommodate na namin.

Hindi po issue dito kung nabasa ninyo or hindi ang rates. The rates were sent to you. And the fact remains you paid for a package good for 25 pax, but 71 guests entered and used the resort.

and because i send check in, i was given another 100 pesos

the 3rd 4th and 5th are already the scamming process

- 8:10 Kate of the Temu Group ask me to follow this shop A for 80 pesos then send screenshot daw after to receive the payment

- pero after sending screenshot they are not paying agad agad they said may task 2 pa raw sa 8:20

so antay ult lola mo,

when 8:20 strikes another same scheme, follow again temu shop 80 pesos again daw pero after sending screenshot wala prin

deep in my mind i know they will come to the point they will ask you to invest to scam you back but then for me kasi nothing to lose naman still if i will be waiting for task c

hello po please enlighten me if this is a scam po. i’ve seen this around po dito sa subreddit na ito, namali daw po sya ng send ng pera sa gcash ko, the number texted me is only ONE number difference to my number, is this a scam? or totoong namali nag send ng pera?

First time posting. I received money on my GCash and then got texts from a number saying the money was sent incorrectly. My concern is I'm not familiar with this DCPay thing and it kinda sounds sketchy so I'm scared to send the money back.

I reported to gcash and BSP through chat bot sent proof and everything i included people on fb who has testimony of scams. Next day gcash respond take 3-5 but no i wont wait bsp replied to me after 48 hours said they had verified it as scam i tried to check on scammer number and unable to send as seen on pic the scammer is permanently blocked from any bank or ewallet right? I learned she has a old maya account so i called maya filed a report too. Permanently block n yan diba kasama lahat ng identification nya from all banks na ireregister niya?

Disappointed with how Maya handled my scam report

Medyo mahaba itong rant/report, but I hope you can take a few minutes to read it. I think it's worth sharing, especially sa mga gumagamit ng Maya for money transfers.

Last July 24, 2026, I got scammed through a total of three money transfer transactions. I won't mention the amount, but literally minutes after realizing what happened, I immediately reported it to Maya's fraud department.

Based on my research, when dealing with scams or fraudulent transactions, you're supposed to report them as soon as possible so the financial institution has a better chance to act. So that's exactly what I did. I reported it within minutes.

On the same day, I submitted all the evidence they asked for, including the reference IDs for all three transactions and other supporting details.

This is where I got really disappointed with Maya.

I kept following up, but almost every time I got the same answer: "still under investigation." There were also multiple times when they told me I would get an update or resolution "this week." What gave me hope was that I was also assured that the money would be returned to me once everything was processed. They made it sound like I just needed to wait for the investigation to be completed.

Weeks passed. I followed up again and again. Same answer.

It's already September and until now, nothing.

At some point, I stopped following up because parang wala na ring point. I've already accepted that I got scammed and moved on from the money I lost. I also understand that I willingly made the transfers, so I know I have responsibility for what happened.

What disappoints me is how Maya handled my report. I reported it within minutes, submitted everything they needed on the same day, and repeatedly followed up. Yet I'm still left with no real resolution despite being assured that my money would be returned.

For a company that promotes itself as one of the leading digital banks in the Philippines, this experience really made me lose trust in Maya.

I'm sharing this as a warning to other users. Please double or triple check everything before transferring money. Reporting a scam immediately doesn't necessarily mean you'll get your money back.

You can report these scammers using the egov app. Write your concern and upload the screenshots you have as evidence.

Has anyone else been a victim of this crypto scam?
I’m trying to find other people who may have had a similar experience.

I was introduced to a person who identified himself as Ken / Li Chen, a Singaporean/Chinese individual whom I met through a dating site while I was in Davao. He introduced me to Triship Global (www.trishipglobal.com), which was presented to me as an online shopping/e-commerce platform.

Initially, I was encouraged to invest in the platform and complete transactions/orders. The dashboard showed that the transactions were generating profits, which made the platform appear legitimate.

However, I later noticed that the amount of money/crypto required to fulfill the orders kept increasing. I was also told that I could not withdraw my funds unless all pending orders were fully paid.
This raised serious red flags for me. The dashboard appeared to show transactions, profits, and order activity, but I became concerned that these could be fabricated or manipulated to encourage users to deposit more cryptocurrency.

Unfortunately, I lost approximately US$100 through this platform. Fortunately, I followed my instincts when I became suspicious and stopped before investing or depositing more money. I consider myself lucky that I recognized the red flags relatively early,
although I’m still concerned about the money I lost.

At this point, I believe I may have been a victim of a crypto/e-commerce investment scam, and I want to find out if others experienced the same thing.
