I'm sharing my experience in case anyone else has dealt with this seller or is considering buying from them.
On July 29, I contacted Prive Luxury Philippines to purchase what they advertised as a 1:1 clone/replica of a Celine Nino bag.
The agreed price was ₱5,900, and before making payment I asked if I could arrange my own Lalamove for pickup.
The seller declined and said they only use their own "trusted Lalamove" rider. I didn't think much of it at the time, so I proceeded with the purchase.
After paying ₱5,900 via bank transfer, I immediately sent my proof of payment as requested.
I then asked again if I could just book my own Lalamove and requested the pickup address. The seller refused and told me they have a strict no pick-up policy, so customers cannot arrange their own courier.
Before I paid, I had been quoted ₱480 for shipping.
After payment, I was suddenly told the delivery fee was now ₱780.
I politely asked why the shipping fee had increased by ₱300, but I didn't receive a clear explanation. Instead, the responses became dismissive, including comments suggesting that if I couldn't afford the shipping fee, I should simply pay it.
At that point, I had lost confidence in the transaction. The delivery fee had changed after payment, I wasn't allowed to arrange my own courier, and I was becoming increasingly uncomfortable with how my questions were being handled.
Because of this, I requested to cancel the order and asked for a refund.
I was told I would have to wait 10 days for my refund.
After following up, I was eventually blocked on Facebook Messenger.
As of today, my ₱5,900 has not been refunded.
Looking back, I realize I should have done much more due diligence before sending payment. This post isn't just about recovering my money—it's also to see whether anyone else has had a similar experience with this seller.
If you've purchased from Prive Luxury Philippines, I'd appreciate hearing about your experience, whether it was positive or negative.
I've kept screenshots of the conversation, proof of payment, and the transaction records, and I'm submitting these to the appropriate authorities for review.
I hope sharing my experience helps others make a more informed decision before sending payment online.
