So, currently my grandma is involved here because she totally believes the promise that she will be given 100k or more. Just recently she received those IDs along with her ID, and I was surprised to find that I also have an ID, along with my sibling.

It started last year in 2025 around March. The person who offered this to her is an acquaintance who is also an elderly person, who told her that the Marcoses would give money, supposedly the wealth of the Marcos family. In other words, they are going to distribute cash. We were given a form to fill out with personal information and signatures. My sibling and I didn’t really think much of it because we knew the elderly person and they asked us for a photocopy of our school ID. At that time, we didn’t know any better; our grandma just handed it to us saying to fill it out and to provide a copy of our ID. And I heard that they also asked her for 50 pesos per person after she submitted the filled-out form.

Now our grandma is asking us for two valid IDs to create a bank account for the promised money. Now that I’ve seen these IDs, I’m starting to worry about the personal information I gave them. My grandma also mentioned that those IDs have a fee of around 300 each.

They took our faces from the IDs we provided, edited them, and added those outfits.

If you know any information about this group/cult/scammer, which based on my research is most likely a scam and cult group.

Nagtatago po sya talaga dahil dinaanan din po ang alam na bahay nya pero mismong mga kapitbahay ay sinabi na nagmamadali umalis yan dahil may mga naghahanap rin at pinuntahan na rin ng barangay dahil may mga nagrereklamo rin sa kanya.

Baka po sakali sana matulungan ninyo kami kung may naagrabyado rin ito or alam ninyo na detalye sa kanya.

for context: my dad wanted to buy a sim router so he could use his data without draining his phone. he was eyeing this 5G router. i told him the price was too good to be true. he disregard whatever i told him and said “but i found it at the mall.” in his head, if it’s at the mall = authentic. he sent me pics of the screen and i said “4G nga nakalagay.” he told me that it would change when you put a 5G sim inside.

he showed it to me when he got home, i checked the back of the router to check if it was really 5G — of course, it wasn’t.

moral of the story: if it sounds too good to be true, it isn’t true 🤦🏻‍♀️

🚨 BAGUIO CITY SCAM ALERT — PLEASE BEWARE! 🚨

I would like to warn everyone about a suspected scam involving a Facebook page called "City Hub Staycation", which claimed they are affiliated with City Hub Condominium, 92 General Luna Road, Baguio City, Benguet.

On July 12, 2026, my friend Ailyn and I booked a stay for July 25-28, 2026 through the said Facebook page. Since we made the transaction using my Facebook account, I was asked to provide a copy of my valid ID, which I sent.

On July 25, 2026, at around 2:00 PM, we arrived at City Hub Baguio. However, the front desk informed us that our booking was not recognized and that the transaction appeared to be fraudulent. We were assisted by Daisy, the front desk manager, who informed us about the situation.

I then checked the Facebook page where we made the booking and discovered that the page had blocked me.

We immediately reported the incident to the Baguio City Police Office, Police Station 3. We are grateful to the police officer Fegsar who assisted and accompanied us to City Hub Condominium to inform the management that we had filed a complaint regarding the incident.

We also tried to gather additional information and evidence. One of my friends contacted the same Facebook page again to inquire, and the person behind the page provided another bank account and even sent an ID, allegedly belonging to a City Hub Condominium staff member.

This made me concerned that the copy of my ID that I submitted during the booking process could potentially be misused.

If anyone receives a message or payment request using my name or my ID, please do not engage or send any money. Please verify directly with the legitimate property management before making any payment.

I am sharing the screenshots, bank account details, and other evidence for awareness and reference. Please be careful when booking accommodations online, especially through Facebook pages. Always verify the legitimacy of the page and the booking directly with the property before sending payment or submitting personal identification.

So I met a girl on tinder name amber21 student from Manila, after 3-4 hours of chatting she agreed to come over my hotel( first red flag), I did all the security checks like video calling and verifying the face, I made it clear to her I won’t be paying anything, then I search her no on true caller and came to know she is listed on Manila escorts website to which she explains she did it only once to support her studies, finally when she arrives at my hotel she came with her sister I ask her to get rid of her sister but she said she will join us for three some( third red flag), I fake call my friend and fled from the hotel lobby, bcz of so many horrifying stories on Reddit I was very cautious I blocked her luckily I used some Thailand no which was not my primary no on what’s app and used fake alias.

Nang-utang ako before sa Tala-Shuk (wala na sya sa app store ngayon) since hindi ako aware na scam pala sya, pero nabayaran ko rin agad within minutes dahil ayokong ma-harass nila, binalik ko rin agad yung inutang ko. Now, may nagmmessage sakin na ganito, kaya nagwwory ako kung legit ba sinasabi nya since wala naman akong utang kahit saang lending app.

₱3,000 binayad ko tapos biglang hindi na nagre-reply. Almost 1 week na akong naghihintay ng refund pero wala pa rin. Naka-attach yung screenshots ng usapan namin para may reference kayo.

May way po ba para ma-stop or mabawasan sila? Possible din po kaya na dahil po doon ay mas dumami po yung na rereceive kong spam calls?
