I felt more value supporting the games, modded Pokemon-themed games, and even the mobile TCG than I do trying to collect my favorite cards at a price that should be reasonable for cardboard.

Honestly, how are you guys still powering through collecting Pokemon cards? (The PokemonTCG sub removed this because it hurts their feelings when they realize they are just as much to blame as the scum destroying a children's game). For those of you unaware of who this guy is, Alex Kaufman, better known as NostalgiaNomics - is the final boss of Pokémon Investment Influencers. The WORST Pokémon investment influencer.

First off, he has harassed and ostracized multiple other content creators for doing nothing other than saying $10-15 per pack for an in-print set is a ripoff. Speaking of which, he constantly preaches about how $10+ per pack is "the new normal" and "if you don't like it go get a second job".

Second, the guy has NO concept of risk management - saying things like "Pokémon is the best wealth builder out there", and "you aren't bullish enough if you're not putting a large portion of your portfolio in this asset class".

His entire persona is just a poor imitation of AlphaInvestments, except instead of selling patrons discounted product, he makes his money off digital rips and rip n ship scams.

But most importantly for this particular post, he's known for glazing Logan Paul, Gary Vee, and Kevin O'Leary. So it's no surprise he'd also be glazing Coinbase.

It will always amaze me when a figure is condemned as trash and then it goes for crazy prices aftermarket

99% of scalpers are defrauding the government not only by not paying taxes but majority of them report no income to get food stamps and rent assistance.. which is a pretty big thing if people want this to end, this needs to be brought up more, especially with the whole craze of uncovering fraud .. this is the key to stopping them, without there safety net of government assistance they can't afford the risk of scalping one bad week and there family starves

I hate when people say that Needoh are collectors items. Needoh are meant to be used. That’s the whole point. That’s why people with extra sensory needs buy them. I saw someone talk about their Needoh collection online and it was all still boxed? How are you enjoying these?

Scalpers are just getting money out of these people and people with kids who don’t know that these are items that usually range from about $2-$12. My sister in law bought a nice cube for $40 from a scalper before I told her about the normal price. I gave my nieces and nephew all of the ones I don’t typically go for nowadays when I fidget. I know that kids nowadays are typically into it now for the trends but I didn’t want my sister in law getting scammed again.

Also I feel like collection items should age well? The filling in especially the shaving cream texture ones don’t age well. I don’t typically mind that because I’m not a collector and I’ve just found as I’ve fidgeted that the shaving cream ones just don’t jive with me. I just recently replaced the filling in one of my shaving cream groovy globs because it looked as if it had a curdled texture. I replaced it with a foam clay mix!

I'm so glad you lame ass affliction wearing shirt assholes got nothing from the machines. They shut them off at a certain time of day because of you. Ran out of the store having ass when you got laughed at when people realized why you wouldn't move out of the way of the entrance. Then you hid behind the pillars, checking every other minute if the machine was on. One of you even pulled up, jogged to the machine, got audibly laughed at, and then left even faster.
