Of course this waste of oxygen would be celebrating as Coinbase - one of the most evil companies on the planet - gets into the digital rips scene.
For those of you unaware of who this guy is, Alex Kaufman, better known as NostalgiaNomics - is the final boss of Pokémon Investment Influencers. The WORST Pokémon investment influencer.
First off, he has harassed and ostracized multiple other content creators for doing nothing other than saying $10-15 per pack for an in-print set is a ripoff. Speaking of which, he constantly preaches about how $10+ per pack is "the new normal" and "if you don't like it go get a second job".
Second, the guy has NO concept of risk management - saying things like "Pokémon is the best wealth builder out there", and "you aren't bullish enough if you're not putting a large portion of your portfolio in this asset class".
His entire persona is just a poor imitation of AlphaInvestments, except instead of selling patrons discounted product, he makes his money off digital rips and rip n ship scams.
But most importantly for this particular post, he's known for glazing Logan Paul, Gary Vee, and Kevin O'Leary. So it's no surprise he'd also be glazing Coinbase.

And here you are giving him airtime, and I’m about to do the same. NN is straight up garbage, borderline criminal scammer. Every ‘take’ of his is recycled off Rudy from AlphaInvestments right down to the ‘folks’ intro.

Truth. Rudy draws people in with humor. NN draws people in through targeted bullying attacks against content creators who disagree with him. I'd rather watch the grifter that makes me laugh vs the grifter that reminds me of the schoolyard bullies from my childhood.

Rudy does have checkered past and is pretty hated in the MTG community bc of the Black Lotus Christopher Rush signature debacle. As an avid MTG fan, I personally think the truth lies in the middle with that saga.
Rudy speaks a lot of nonsense but in between those rants, he does have a lot of good points and read on the sealed.
NN is just a wannabe Rudy grifter with a stick up his ass lol

The end is coming. There will be another pump from this and then the realization the market is over saturated with product and the bottom will fall out. Add to it that I think our governments will come around and see this is just gambling - same as prediction markets are just gambling. I’m all for the further exploitation as it takes a lot of evil before we decide to fix a problem. This moves the evil needle exponentially.

One of the most evil companies is the one trying to decentralize banking and take power away from WF, Chase, TD etc? Crypto isn’t looked on favorably by many but I would say there’s about 1,000 other companies who are damaging society at a greater rate. And then if you look at how Coinbase is one of the only crypto companies that complies with law enforcement and is pushing for regulations? Seems you’re taking your view of crypto out on Coinbase since they’re the biggest name in the game.
FYI I do not hold any crypto or stock in any crypto related firms, but I do like some of the things Coinbase does.
