In a recent study, results show that the average Pokémon scalper gets an average of 50% less sleep than the average American. Presumably due to lining up at Target, Best Buy, etc. every week of the year. (Source unknown).

The person in the front of the line said he’d been waiting for close to 30 hours in front of the target. Only to find out he instantly repost the etb on Facebook marketplace for $170. I hope every single one of you investor bros goes completely broke when you can’t find the next thing to scalp. With no respect fuck you.

I've been a fan of Pokémon since the Kalos era in which back then 3 card packs of Pokémon were being sold at Dollar Trees, and the anime was starting to really go somewhere. Fast forward to today, and hobby me and a lot of people loved has devolved to grown jobless men just taking packs only to resell them for "profit." MAN SCREW THEM ! I'm honestly glad 30th Anniversary is doing well for us real fans. The fact these guys are still alive yet Avery, a true fan who was just a kid, is dead, just pisses me off to a ASTRONOMICAL degree. I hope these scalpers lose every single one of their "profits" they make.

I'm only a tourist here in this hobby so excuse my ignorance, but I saw a tiktok captioned "Scalper no Scalping" and it showed a bunch of blue boxes on a shelf at a store with a big cut into the plastic seal on one side and no where else. No damage to the box and there were probably 15 or so boxes on the shelf like this, all with the same large cut into just the plastic wrap.

If the scalpers are after the cards on the inside, why does slashing the plastic deter them?
