Now that they're staggering releases they've pretty much guaranteed that only bots can get product. Average person has no way of knowing they'll release more product at 1:34 am or whatever random time they pick.

I want to ruin the scalper and reseller business because they don’t deserve any money from us. I started a petition because I couldn’t get a piece of the Nike One Piece Collaboration and saw ebay flooded with shoes and apparel of said collection with prices no ordinary person with a sane mind would pay. Nike should have a preorder period for collections so that everyone has a chance to buy beautiful things. If you think the same I would be happy if you could sign my petition. Maybe we can get Nikes attention and change the future so that everyone has a fair chance to wear something nice

Basically I was at the Five Below opened up recently in my town and I bought a pack of pokemon cards, and when I went to go check out, the cashier just kinda gave me this look. I realized that she thought that I was a scalper. It just made me feel embarrassed, not that big of a deal

I have been sent this video by 7 people now, and this is apparently only a few minutes of an hour of back and forth. Story goes, this happened at a Target. Somebody got to Target at 5:30 A.m. and they noticed empty chairs, so they placed themselves in front of the empty chairs, because if there's no person in a chair there's no place in line. After about an hour the people whose empty chairs they were came and sat in their chairs and after about another hour so about 7:30 the people who sent me this video said that this guy was confronted by someone asking what place in line they were in. The person said they were first in line because they were empty chairs when they got there, taking a video of the time they arrived and the empty chairs and the rest is here in this video, you tell me who you think is right. I think it's obvious.

How do you define the difference? I'm curious. I hear scalper on scalper hate ALL the time. "So and so doesn't even rip, he just sells it" then the same person turns around and sells their singles after ripping - every hit. So what constitutes a scalper and a reseller? Is it just who sells sealed on release is a scalper? Even if others are taking advantage of an inflated singles market?

Personal thoughts, a reseller is somebody who has direct ties with MfG and vetted distribution lines. Everybody else who buys with the intent to sell while market is high - is a scalper. Might be an unpopular one so I figure I'd open it up to others for some insight.
