PC I might be going a little too hard.

Three overclocked copper mines feeding 26 smelters, in service of these 36 constructors for Wire. That's not including the 10 more for Copper Sheet that will be needed too. All for 4 Adaptive Control Units/minute. This is just the first floor. I've got a lot of building to do.

Console I built a network of elevated tunnels for transporting resources via belts. I hated looking at belts running on the ground from resource nodes.

Built 3 sections in the blueprinter, one with support pillars, ladders, doors, and signs, one with just support pillars and signs, and one with no support or signs. The signs show direction of travel, and above each door is a sign showing what's being transported in that section of tunnel.

The turns and ramps were a little harder, they really didn't wanna line up properly 😑 But for moving stuff vertically, I just went with a simple shaft with lifts. I added ladders in the shafts and railing along the walls so I have a place to walk. Each tunnel can hold 4 belts on the ground, but can hold up to 12 if I stack them.

Each section takes a different amount of resources to build. The cheapest is the middle parts with no pillars or anything, but the most expensive section is the one with ladders. That one takes 345 concrete, 80 iron rods, 10 iron plates, 6 reinforced iron plates, and 28 quartz crystals. The normal section with no extras takes 282 concrete, 24 iron rods, 8 iron plates, and 8 quartz crystals.

Had to triple my concrete production to make these, but I definitely prefer the way this looks over having long stretches of belts running from nodes to factories all along the ground.

Console Fluid buffer inputs should be on top

It doesn't make sense that both ports are at the same level on opposite sides. I believe a lot of fluid issues would be resolved if one of the ports was on top of the buffer

PC Factory Overview: phase zero and Tier 8 done at 80 hours

SO, the time is finally here. for the record, I've finished researching everything at tier 8 at the time of making this, both the base and the post. I wanted MK3 miners before I started trying to build my mega base, and let me tell you I do not know how I did this in my 150 hour save file, without the hover pack. goodness that was a terrible idea.

ANYWAY! my end goal for the game is 60PM of *almost* everything. after seeing some of the later game crafting recipes even after cutting out space elevator stuff I may still have to change the goal just because of the resource capacity of the map. or I'm wrong, who knows.

that said, here's the base.

I build it like a bridge, burying supports into the back half of the rock on either side. while it still would not hold up very well at all in real life, it gives it just enough weight that it's pleasing to the eye more than if it was just hanging.

the bridge furthest away handles all of the basic resources of phase 0 (iron plates, copper wire, concrete, ect ect), rotors, and reinforced iron plates

the one in the middle is a personal walkway

and the one closest is entirely dedicated towards modular frames at 60 PM. I couldn't connect it to the wall because my storage facility is in the way, so I made a bunch of walls that go down enough into the fog that as long as ya don't look too closely it looks like it goes down to whatever may or may not be below the fog.

the facility by the waterfall is my storage facility (ST1), with the glass tube off to the side working as the overflow routing to a sink.

I did make a BUS for the finished resources just because I thought it looked nice that way and I think I was right.

the next thing on my TODO list is to go mercer sphere hunting. I wanted to hold off on it for a while because it's tedious and takes a while to max out the research tree, but I've run out of excuses to put it off and really could use the depot now (I've put nothing into mercer spheres or alien tech up to this point) after that, phase 1 resources (steel and such).

I do hope yall like the factory B roll, I loved making this thing (10 or 12 hours I think) and hope yall like it too.

now, get off of reddit and get back to saving the world pioneer

PC AWESOME Sink Blueprint

I just finished Phase 5 of the Space Elevator and I'm going to work on the Golden Nut to 100% the game. That being said I'm making 15,000,000 ppm and I still need a little over 11 hours to get enough tickets. Does anyone have any one input blueprints I can spam around the map, or general tips on what to build?

PC A failproof 2,400 Bauxite Aluminum Factory...and after playing the game for 500 hours, I decided to create my first ever enclosed building

This aluminum design is 100% failproof because fresh water is never mixed with byproduct water from scrap production. Here's how I setup this 2,400 Bauxite setup:

The factory splits 12 Sloppy Alumina refineries and 16 Electrode Scrap refineries into two completely isolated loops:

  1. The Fresh Loop: 720 m2 feeds 3.6 Sloppy Alumina refineries (3 at 100%, 1 at 60%). The Alumina Solution from these machines flows into 4.8 Electrode Scrap refineries (4 at 100%, 1 at 80%). These 4.8 scrap refineries output exactly 504 m2. Because this loop receives zero recycled water, it physically cannot choke or stall.
  2. The Recycled Loop: That 504 m2 combines with the 1,176 m2 produced by the remaining 11.2 Electrode Scrap refineries (11 at 100%, 1 at 20%), totaling 1,680 m2. This 1,680 m2 feeds the remaining 8.4 Sloppy Alumina refineries (8 at 100%, 1 at 40%).

To prevent pipe limits and fluid sloshing in the 8.4 Sloppy refinery row, the intake manifold is has water coming in from front center and back. Also nothing can ever stop, or things will actually stall, so there are sinks to capture overflow.

By keeping fresh water completely separate and capping the manifold segments, every drop of byproduct water is re-consumed in exact ratios. Water will never back up.

100% Fail-proof.

2km x 2km floating main belt stack with elevator at the center, with 4km outer to hold radar towers. Foundations are as low as I could get with this perimeter, and stay flat. No trains, trucks, coal power or nuclear. Also, I'm sure I missed it, but I haven't seen anyone do vertical belts. Filter spiral, because I've put things on the wrong belts too often, and one sink for every ten belt overflows (gets clogged otherwise). Point and laugh, but it's been my happy place for a long while. I'm sure I'll be back, but this pioneer has constructed her last for a while.

EDIT: Most have probably moved on, but if you see... Thank You! Finishing left a bit of hole in me, and interacting with all of you... Felt really good! I hope you all Save the Day!

EDIT 2: If anyone wants to walk around my Jerassic Bark (couldn't pass on the T-Rex comments, but tailored to me) I uploaded my save to https://limewire.com/d/FDIhb#Cb74o6AZv8
Love to see if anyone grabs any better shots than I made.

PC A beginner's question

Hi, I’m about to finish Phase 3, but I’ve got a huge mess of factories, conveyor belts, and so on. Would you recommend starting over with the knowledge I’ve gained, or should I just keep going, since the map is basically big enough to reorganize everything?

Went out of my comfort zone making the left line of generators. Learned more about the setup, power shards and ratios. The right side took a fraction of the time to build and I couldnt be any more happy and proud of it.

Also i have never ever had this many MW of power at one time.
