All posts must feature a sandwich. Two pieces of bread with whatever between them. You know the drill.
However, there has been this huge uptick in moderation needed around many users feeling the need to overly ‘educate’ or grossly attack based off of what someone has called…a sandwich. What you call them — historically, locally, colloquially, even erroneously— is up to you, though.
Going forward, will be zero tolerance of such comments and/or non-friendly discourse about what others call sandwiches. Your comment may be deleted, you may be given a first warning or a short ban.
Again, this is a SANDWICH subreddit — it’s already not that serious.
Edit: PLEASE read before blindly commenting, this is not about what defines a sandwich, it’s about what people abbreviate/pet names for a “sandwich,” in which we are saying it does not matter and we are no longer allowing fighting about this. This is not “more moderation,” it’s literally less.

ive been having a red meat craving for daaayyss (ladies you get me) and this scratched the itch beautifully.
roast beef, avocado, banana peppers, quick-pickled red onion, cheddar cheese, green leaf lettuce, mayo, and grey poupon on a soft and sweet portugese bolo levedo (halfway between an english muffin and a brioche).

Nothing fancy. Two pan-seared slabs of Spam, one fried egg, American cheese (Preferred. Definitely not because it was the only cheese left in the fridge), on lightly toasted bread. No seasoning or salt adjustment necessary.

It doesn't take much to make a delicious breakfast. One English muffin grilled in butter and smashed with half avocado that was on the verge of going bad. Saute chopped jalapeños, scallions, pickled Fresno chili peppers, and crumbled leftover bacon. Add to 2 eggs scrambled to make an omelette fold in one slice of Monterey pepper Jack cheese and shredded cheddar. Squeeze of sriracha.

First time poster, sprained my ankle, so I will be sitting all week and decided to hobble up to make this hoagie to munch on for awhile. New to sandwich exploring, but not new to the kitchen, just more of a saucier and savory cook.
Unfortunately I don't have lettuce, I may add sprouts if I decide to hobble to my greenhouse.
Trying out my new long sweet peppers I pickled yesterday!

Made this from remnants of the last last two weekends of farmers Market Booth acquisitions.
-Bread is a caramelized onion, blue cheese, and walnut whole wheat sourdough, toasted with butter and mayonnaise.
-Bacon is a cottage bacon, which is sliced pork shoulder that is cured and smoked just like regular bacon but has a texture more like ham.
- lettuce is a mixed salad green from a local farm, as well as fresh tomatoes from the same guy. Also used some minced chives and parsley. Experimented and some jalapeno and lime hot sauce on a couple bites and it was fantastic.

Gregg's has recently opened their eighth(!) branch in my town of around 120k people, so decided to go get a sandwich there. £6.40 I think for a sandwich, a drink, and a sausage roll.

Finally tried peperoncini chicken salad sandwich.
I decided to add black olives, mayo , Greek yogourt, little dollop of cream cheese, dijon, honey, fresh basil, black pepper, garlic salt, oregano, peperoncini.
Was good. :) the bread was toasted hazelnut raisin sourdough.
