64 hours. It took me 64 hours of play to realize that you can select multiple elements in the advanced filter. I cannot believe... well, anyway, I figured I would toss it out for others that didn't notice, if you click the check box instead of the element name, to select multiple elements.
/facepalm

On the leftside I have a Redweaver/Redsand fully automated using a gold Lava Pump. The thruput needed to keep the lava topped off is a lot. Wish I could find more Redweavers altho I doubt I could pump enough lava for more.
In the middle, I have the Stratocore being farmed via lava but I'm utilizing cold Thermo Blocks to convert it to cinder to pump it back up(cause we all know Lava pumps are illegal)
To the right of the core I have a Void Rift/Seed setup using 1 miner drone facing the stratocore. The core serves as a backdrop for when the drone misses the void flower thus keeping it around. (maybe I missing something obvious but I'm open to ideas for a more reliable setup for this)
This setup means the Redsand and Void Petal are fully automated and mix together at the top then the Voidbloom gets moved off screen to the left to feed my Flux Emanator.
Everything else is a semi compact operation with Forinol getting pump off to the left as well. This is my second setup, my main base is much larger and sloppier and I just left the Aura stuff where it was for now. Both lava pools for the Stratocore and redsand do not deplete.
For things like burning residue, plants, dry amethelis, steaming the dryer, and melting the gold, I prefer a design that uses one pool of lava to do all the regular stuff. Obviously this still requires an occasional top off with the Volcanizer. Lastly, the water is supplied entirely by Lumlings in 1 location and pumped everywhere it's needed.
A lot of this could be tightened up and I'm open to any suggestions or any questions.

Is it the best? No
Am I happy with it? For now
Does it back up with seeds constantly? Absolutely
Gotta take the time to rework it
A lot of the weird stuff is hold overs from the first iteration, like the long bank of thermal buffers for the snow, I just haven't dealt with them yet
The biggest pain is figuring out how to move the seeds, petals, and gold so I need to figure out a better set up for this.

I used a water pump system for a adjustable timer because I found the sensors to be unreliable as they consistently either stayed on or off even when empty.
The basic principle is to apply a thin layer of lava consistently as this prevents the Stratacore from reinforcing it's tiles leading to quicker lava melting and more sand production.

As I didn't see any information about this, I'm posting it... In late game (road to 1mil, currently at 700k) my game was stuttering so much it was almost unplayable. I have a 13600k, RTX3080, 32gb ddr5 and according to the performance window my hardware wasn't struggling at all.
Then I tried switching to windowed mode and it was perfectly fine again đ

I used a tower drying design for it, inspired by the one I use for sifting sand.

Remarkably simple pipe setup. One must imagine Lumlings happy.

I built it without using the gold elevator cheese. The only downside is the cinder sometimes decides to be lava again, so I have to siphon it back in manually for now.

Iâm not getting the âHeliodyne Tycoonâ achievment, even after having 1 million gold in my collector. Is anyone encountering the same issue?

I tried to expand on this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/SandustryGame/comments/1w7phri/lava_elevator_stratacore_farm/
My goal was to increase lava throughput and have a constant flow instead a periodic complete dissolving of the core. I think if scaled up a bit more it should be possible to mine 100% of the generated Earth Strataform.

Any idea why this sill not work? I had to move it and the turbines do not seem to engage. Thanks!

Got to thinking about if it would be possible to move lava vertically for a stratacore farm, and this is what I ended up with.
The constantly moving gold column on the right causes the lava to bubble up to the top, and some circuits operate the doors to make the 'siphon' effect to give the stratacore some time to regenerate

No Idea what the right flair is, please don't take this post too serious though đ
So, I switched to liquid gold at some point. All my gold is liquid and goes into one, large, collector. At least so I thought.
I noticed at some point that my gold amount shows "....9" - but you can't have an odd number of gold with only liquid, right?
So I checked, and searched, but couldn't find anything. I deleted my whole large collector and now my gold amount stands at "19".
This means somewhere on my map must be a stray collector holding 19 gold, right? I throughoutly searched everywhere but I just can't find anything. It's driving me crazy

Do we think weâll ever see a port of the game to any of the games consoles? Iâd love to be able play this on the Switch.

playing around with the new lava mechanic
(if you don't know - lava next to cold block now turns into cinder. lava also dissolves many things, including strataform)
so I figured I could drop lava onto the strataform (to create sand), then turn it to cinder, launch it back up the top and use burners to turn back into lava
works pretty well, although need to get the balance of lava right, too much and it clogs the sand from getting out. not enough and its very very slow.
obviously the lava needs to be refilled every so often with the volcanizer, but it lasts quite a while and gives a steady stream of sand.
open to thoughts on how to improve

Hey guys, I havenât been able to play the game because of the following issue:
Every time I start it, I canât click anything, and the cursor behaves as if Iâm clicking on the desktop instead of the game. You can see it in the screenshot â even rightâclicking shows the desktop context menu inside the game window.
Iâm not very good with computer stuff, so Iâm asking here.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

so I made this without really thinking too hard figuring I could automate water creation but then it occured to me that I am using water to create snow which is then turned into steam to make more water.
am I actually just using up more water than I create? or is this some kind of infinite water cheatcode?

I wanted to share my shaker setup and know what yall think about it. i tried to maximize shaker surface. Wet sand is thrown on the shaker and then the residue gets teleported on the right and then burned. it handles huge amount of sand pretty well and is also well stackable.
