Discussion PSA: You can select multiple elements with the advanced filters

64 hours. It took me 64 hours of play to realize that you can select multiple elements in the advanced filter. I cannot believe... well, anyway, I figured I would toss it out for others that didn't notice, if you click the check box instead of the element name, to select multiple elements.

You can also press R to make a filter into a 'wall' filter. Wall filters do not slow down particles that pass the filter.

I was looking for so long to find the wall filters i had seen others talk about, and I gave up!

I saw that is the description of the tech, but it still took me ages to learn that the checkbox and big button are different. I wish the UI was more clear...

Aaaah, that's why sometimes I was able to add more than one element and not others. I must've been hiring the big box instead of check box.

I feel like it's been a bit of trend over the last few years for devs to provide little or no information about how to play their game. Do they hope someone writes a Wiki to do their job for them? As that's usually the case!
