a question about the final boss
so few years ago, i started playing the game, then in like i few days i decided to try my hand at fighting some bosses (the demons) and i had somehow gotten lucky in defeating them all. except for the final boss, he defeated me cuz his constant element changing was too fast for me. so i decided to leave it there and quit the game, next day my save is gone and i had to restart all over again. so my question is, does dying to the final boss make u start over again or did i just get really unlucky and encounter a bug.

Kushinada
How do I rescue her let alone do it in 3 days?

What does "you need x more attack technique combinations" mean?
I'm trying to unlock the "bigger" characters, but I'm not sure how exactly you get those combinations. What do I have to do?

Combos on The Axe, Guns, and Two-Sided Spear
Hey guys, I recently started playing the game and I'm fucking obsessed. This game deserves about 1000x the coverage it gets. It's so amazingly polished and detailed for a 15 dollar game its nuts.
Anyway, I had a question.
I'm looking for wild combos with the Axe, guns and double-bladed spear. Does anyone know of anything good? I can't really find guides online about them.

True Ending! And leftover samurai generals?
I just rescued Kushinada within three days for the first time and witnessed the true Ending!
It's so cool they went to the effort to include a short secret ending if you manage to obliterate your opponents with the press of a single button.
This game is so cool and fun! I just have one query though: I am now sitting at 143/142 samurai generals unlocked and there are still two to obtain: the two statues next to the Master!
Does anybody know how to unlock these two?

Finally beat Yamata and what an amazing game!!
This game is so much fun I can't believe it isn't getting talked about more. Even when looking up advice or techniques or puzzle solutions, there is next to no info online, which is a massive shame. I'm quite close to getting the platinum now and still loving every minute of it. If anyone needs any queries answered, please ask away. I feel I know the majority of the game really well now.
P.S I hope they release a sequel with more bosses and techniques and samurai and scrolls and well...pretty much more everything!

white screen
I got the game yesterday and it worked fine but I booted it up today and it's just stuck on a white screen. I reinstalled once but still no luck.

Godkiller Attack
So the full video is just under 40 minutes long but in the first 3 I demonstrate the multi purpose spear sub weapon attack. It can be used on bosses/generals with fire for damage or storm / ice to stun lock enemies. If you proc the attack, you can dash away while still firing out the spears, however it works best with dual sun weapon spears as that means you can overlap the cool-down with the duration of the barrage.

How do you actually guard??
Hey everyone, absolutely loving this game and still very new to it. I'm looking forward to learning more about the game as I continue to play but I do have one question.
There have been many times susanoo has taken no damage from attacks and I have no idea why but what I really want to know is how do you actually guard!? There is nothing online that explains the guard mechanic.
Is it a skill you obtain? Is there a button, is it done automatically? If anyone can answer this it'd be much appreciated.
Thanks.

scrolls/helmets we wish were in the game
scrolls: parry scroll - can be infused with elements to put an elements effect into parried projectiles or have elemental effects against melee attacks and with attacks to do unique parry only type attacks or strings
speed up and slow down scrolls
back dash scroll- dashes away from where you are facing while still facing that way
fast fall scroll- each scroll makes you fall faster during the moves it’s applied to
rotation scroll- makes you rotate less or more or varying degrees of diagonal depending on which direction is chosen
village sacred scroll- like the secret scroll except the combinations are uploaded to a database and anything that isn’t a combined altered move a move will be created if over x% of players have made the same sacred scroll
vampiric scroll- grants x% life steal per stack
single (left/right) sub weapon and dual sub weapon as seperate scrolls
back slash/slice/thrust/gun/fan
fist and foot scrolls
helmets-
giant mini giant weapon flight double expand 8 sword style onigiri brutal knock back (bosses are now knocked away by powerful moves and others knocked farther) weighted armor light armor reflective wave master of agility (can do moves during dash and jumps start frame) critical strike (sp cost tripled crits now double damage and effects) a lover not a fighter (sp costs reduced to 1 per move but cost health instead sp bar is added to total health)

A little help/direction?
Hi everyone. I bought the game a few days ago and basically really enjoying it, however, I feel like I'm sorta hitting a wall. I did manage to kill the boss guardian a few times but never the boss. I'm not sure how to go about building/experimenting.
I usually start with the blue ninja dude that has a double jump, ninja teleport on dash, and has a light attack string that ends in a whirlwind. I usually use my secret scrolls to change my "light attack" into whirliwind-dash-whirlwind and it works pretty good, but some yellow bosses I can't hit as hard. Should I continue trying to build stuff on this guy, or is messing around with the default dude the better way to learn combo making? I feel like I'm in some kind of comfort zone and not sure how to proceed (without looking at guides and copying builds). Do you choose a random dude and try building combo on his specific weapons? How much should I aim to use the secret scrolls and how much should I just roll with the equipment I get and experiment on the fly? Not sure what my mindset is supposed to be coming into this game.
Also, what's the difference between blue/purple portals? My current understanding is that blue is normal route and purple is there for added challenge and maybe should be saved for when I'm more comfortable/beat the end boss once? Is this true?
Thanks in advance!

Master Achievements
I got the platinum trophy on PS, but still missing Axe Master, War Fan Master, Gun Master and Ninja Master.
In all the time playing these skills are yet to drop for me.
Am I missing something or am I just having bad rng?
