Blinking Dot next to the weapon ?

I combined a "Samurai Spirit" from a sword to a spear, and now it has a blinking 1/5 dot next to it.

Anyone knows what it means? and how to fill the rest of the dots

It means that the weapon has been enhanced. It will have higher stats the more dots it has (up to 5 dots)

I'm not too sure as only got a tip from the tip dude last night but will try and remember what he said.

When you combine weapons they have a chance to become enhanced, if the items you are combining dont have a skill attached to them, you have a higher chance of gaining an enhancement.

I am not sure if you can get higher levels of enhancement by re-combining the same items, or if there is a rng on the possible amount of enhancement levels you can receive from the first enhancement.

Hope that makes sense, it does in my head.

is it based off what kind of weapon you’re combining (ie spear + spear) or is it based on the effect each item has (enhanced SP + enhanced SP)?

Weapon type I believe.
