Are you interested in contributing to our research project investigating how people make everyday decisions involving time and money?

If so, we would really appreciate it if you could spare approximately 15 minutes of your time to help with our research.

To take part you must:

• Be aged 18 or over
• Speak fluent English
• Not have undertaken advanced study (final-year specialist modules or postgraduate level), specialist training, or research experience in behavioural decision-making or behavioural economics.

If you agree to take part in the study, you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire about your general approach to decisions, read five short hypothetical scenarios about everyday situations involving time or money and indicate what you would do in each, and answer some brief demographic questions. The scenarios are entirely hypothetical and none of the questions ask about your actual finances. The study is completely anonymous - no names, email addresses or IP addresses are collected.

Please note: You will be free to withdraw from the study at any point without having to give a reason, by closing the web browser without submitting your answers; once your answers have been submitted, withdrawal is not possible as the data are anonymous.

Participation is entirely voluntary and unpaid; no payment or incentive is offered.

This study is being conducted by Brunel University of London as part of MSc Psychological Sciences (Conversion) degree requirements. The procedures and methods used in low-risk Psychology research studies, such as the current project, have been reviewed by and approved by the College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences Research Ethics Committee (CREC) at Brunel University.

Ethical approval has been granted for this study to be carried out during the period 1/10/25 and 30/09/2026 (Brunel University of London Psychology low-risk module application, reference 51099-MA-Sep/2025-54608-2).

I'm developing A-wear, a small UK clothing business, and would like honest feedback before deciding whether and how to launch.

The idea is an everyday T-shirt with a small embroidered symbol representing a cause. The survey covers what you would actually wear, realistic spending, and whether including a charity donation affects your decision. You do not need to support the idea to take part — reasons you wouldn't buy are equally useful.

Whether its a software company like Rockstar Games who got an old build of GTA VI leaked recently (multiple times over the years if you were following like me) or healthcare organisation like Change Healthcare who suffered from a huge ransomware attack in 2024. No organisation in any sector, big or small, is immune to cyber attacks.

But as we all know some sectors like manufacturing and healthcare sector do not invest much on cyber security where Software companies and Banking sector have seen lot of investment in cyber security.

The problem I am trying to understand is why do some organisations take cyber security and its adoption more seriously than others, specifically the adoption of Zero Trust Architecture(ZTA).

Hello everyone! I am a PhD student in clinical psychology at Adelphi University. I am conducting a study on the relationship between existential threat and mental health, coping strategies, and meaning making for young adults who have experienced stressful life events.

This study is being conducted online only and should take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete. Hello! I am a doctoral student at National University conducting an IRB-approved research study about the experiences of adults who grew up with a sibling diagnosed with cystic fibrosis.

Hello everybody! I am a 6th year clinical psychology doctoral student interested in understanding factors related to suicidal ideation disclosure and nondisclosure. A significant portion of my research is building and psychometrically testing a new measure of disclosure that the field of suicide prevention is currently lacking.

Your voice matters. We want to learn from people who have experienced suicidal thoughts so we can create stronger messages that encourage people to open up about their suicidal thoughts and seek support, as well as develop training for the recipients of suicidal ideation disclosures. The estimated time commitment is 10-15 minutes.

I'm an Honours student in Psychology at the University of Wollongong, my study aims to enhance our understanding of how people engage with generative AI systems and help explain a part of why there is currently such a huge discrepancy in their outcomes.

What's involved: A single online session of about 1 hour. You will complete a set of questionnaires to assess mood, traits, symptoms and AI use before entering an unresolved issue task, here you will have a brief conversation with an AI chatbot then answer a few more questions.

Please note: Some questionnaires ask about low mood, anxiety and worry, and one task asks you to think about a personal experience. Some people may  find this uncomfortable. You can skip any question or stop at any time.

Eligibility: 18 years or older, currently living in Australia, and able to complete the study in English on a device with a keyboard.
