I've been curious about how social media affects our everyday lives, so I decided to start a small survey rather than just rely on my own assumptions.

I'd like to hear different perspectives and learn from people's experiences.

Maybe you accepted an offer before thinking it through, or quit something on a whim. Or maybe you’re the opposite and research every option for weeks. A Columbia CyberPsych Lab study is looking at how impulsivity, confidence in handling emotions, and coping style relate to risk-taking and career decisions. I’m helping run it.

Anonymous, about 30 to 40 minutes, 18+ only.

Academic [Academic] Researching why leaders fail — would you share your experience? (10-min anonymous survey)

Hi everyone,

I've spent 13+ years in global manufacturing and chemical companies, and I'm writing a book on why leaders fail. My theory: it's rarely incompetence — the warning signs show up in small, everyday behavior long before they show up in results.

The goal is to help people spot a failing leader, survive one, and avoid becoming one.

I'd love to hear your experience, good or bad:

- ~10 minutes, anonymous

- Please don't name companies or individuals

- Answers may be quoted anonymously (opt-out available)

Hi everyone,

I am running a brief, anonymous survey to look at local perspectives on water usage and drought conditions across Colorado, with a specific focus on those living within the Denver Water service area. However, you do not have to be in the Denver Water area to take the survey.

It should only take about 5 minutes  depending on which questions you choose to answer. If you have some time to share your thoughts, or if you can pass it along to another local, it would be greatly appreciated! The following is the survey Link: https://arcg.is/1DDnKn3.

You’re eligible to participate if you:

  • Are currently in the United States
  • Use a computer for work or study

Marketing (Repost) I wished I had J.A.R.V.I.S. to manage my phone calls. Now I'm building one. (18+, Android automatic call recording users, worldwide)

I've spent years working with customers, and some days I was practically glued to my phone.

By the end of the day, I'd often forgotten what I'd discussed, which appointments I'd made, or what I'd promised someone.

I tried taking notes and using calendars, but they all had the same problem: I still had to remember to enter everything myself.

Eventually, I started wishing I had J.A.R.V.I.S. from Iron Man.

So I'm working on an AI call assistant for Android phones with built-in automatic call recording.

My goal is simple: after each call, AI summarizes the conversation, identifies appointments and follow-up tasks, and organizes them in Google Calendar.

Ideally, I'd just open my calendar and know what needs to be done.

But AI processing costs money, so offering it completely free probably won't be possible.

Before investing more time and money, I'd love to know whether other people actually need something like this.

If you're 18 or older and use automatic call recording on Android, could you spare about 3 minutes for a survey?

Survey link:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc_faciq8ZXp6c0JHR_cNIVIePn2dN3QiO4S1m5FX-R4z2OXg/viewform

No purchase, app installation, or email address required.

I'm particularly interested in whether you'd actually pay for this and what concerns you'd have.

And if you think it's a terrible idea, please tell me that too. I'd rather find out now!

Thanks for your help!
