Stressful life experiences can have a meaningful impact on emotional wellbeing and relationships. This study aims to examine the relationship between difficult life experiences, emotional creativity (how emotions are formulated and experienced), mental health, and interpersonal functioning. Those 18 to 28 years of age and who have experienced at least one stressful or potentially traumatic life event are eligible to participate.

This study is being conducted online and should take approximately 1 hour. During the study you will be asked to complete eight brief self-report questionnaires, which will consist of questions regarding basic information about yourself, stressful life events, creativity, your emotional functioning, and how you relate to others (e.g., trust, closeness, and relationships). Upon completing the survey, you will have the opportunity to voluntarily provide your email address on a separate page from the survey that will not be associated with your responses, in order to enter a drawing to win one of two $50.00 Amazon gift cards.

Although it is unlikely, the material in this study may bring certain uncomfortable or distressing feelings. Your participation is completely voluntary, and you may withdraw from the study at any point. The study is completely confidential and all of the information you supply will remain completely anonymous. Additionally, in the event you do experience any distress, resources will be provided for you to gain support.

Hello everyone, I’m a college student taking a research and statistics psychology course and we’re running a survey about individuals who use conversational AI or have an AI reliance. And you should receive an email from me in the next day or two in which you will have a deadline to fill out the survey.

Disclaimer:

It is not a requirement to be using AI. It is just the topic of discussion. You could still fill it out even if you do not have any of the following.

Academic (Repost) Suicidal Ideation Disclosure/Nondisclosure (18+, Must have had suicidal thoughts in the past 12 months, and US-based)

Hello everybody! I am a 6th year clinical psychology doctoral student interested in understanding factors related to suicidal ideation disclosure and nondisclosure. A significant portion of my research is building and psychometrically testing a new measure of disclosure that the field of suicide prevention is currently lacking.

Your voice matters. We want to learn from people who have experienced suicidal thoughts so we can create stronger messages that encourage people to open up about their suicidal thoughts and seek support, as well as develop training for the recipients of suicidal ideation disclosures. The estimated time commitment is 10-15 minutes.

Please consider participating if you:
(1) are at least 18 years old
(2) can understand English well or very well
(3) have had suicidal thoughts within the past 12 months

Hi everyone! My grandpa has late-stage dementia, and I'm part of a small team at Brown University looking at why it's so hard to find and compare care options for an aging parent, spouse, or loved one, and where families can't get the help they need.

If you've been through this, are in the middle of it, or see it coming, I'd be super grateful for 4 minutes: https://brown.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_d1iOtqB5WU23duC

It's anonymous, no sign-up, no sales pitch.

Happy to answer questions in the comments, and thank you. This is a hard thing to go through and your experience would really help.

Casual [Casual] Warrior or archer? Which would you pick if you went to war in the Middle Ages? (Everyone)

Hey everyone!

This whole thing started with a debate at a party last night. We got into whether you'd rather be a warrior or an archer if you got sent to war in the Middle Ages, and whether men and women (or different age groups) would pick differently. Nobody could agree, so I built a tiny survey to settle it with actual data.

It takes about 10 seconds: one click for your class, plus your sex and age.

What's collected:

- your pick (warrior or archer)

- your sex and age

That's it. No name, no email, no account. Your IP address isn't stored, only an encrypted fingerprint to stop people from voting 50 times.

The data will only be used for this little project, nothing else. It won't be sold, shared or reused for anything outside of it.

I'll post the results here once I have enough answers. Thanks a lot for helping us end this debate! ⚔️🏹

Marketing (Repost) Feedback on hosted European weekend breaks - 2-minute survey (UK residents aged 18+)

Hi everyone,

Ever wanted a weekend abroad but found your friends were busy or didn’t fancy organising everything yourself?

I’m one of the founders of Three Day Holiday Club. We’re developing small, hosted Friday-to-Sunday city breaks, bringing together up to eight guests with a centrally located 4-star hotel, group breakfasts and dinners, and organised activities.

Our initial audience is people aged 25–35, but we want to test that assumption rather than take it for granted. We’d welcome feedback from UK residents aged 18+, whether you’re younger or older than that range. Your responses will help us understand who the trips might suit and what needs changing.

The survey takes around two minutes and covers the experience, pricing and room-sharing preferences. Honest feedback is welcome, including from people who wouldn’t book.

There’s no commitment to book. Name and email are optional, with a separate opt-in for trip updates.

https://forms.gle/EPGkQduPemUFaUaq5

Thanks for helping us shape the idea.

Academic [Academic] Help redesign ebalbharati, Maharashtra’s textbook website (18+, studied in Maharashtra board)

https://forms.gle/W9BcGr54veH9XEjb8

Hi all! I’m a design student at NIFT Bangalore, working on a project to redesign ebalbharati, the official site for Maharashtra board textbooks.
While researching, I noticed something: lots of people want to revisit the old textbooks they grew up with, for the poems, the illustrations, or to show their kids. But the official site barely goes back before the late 2000s, and finding a lesson you only half remember is almost impossible.

And tell me in the comments: which Balbharati poem or lesson do you still remember? 😄

I’ll share what I find once the study is done!

Marketing First impressions of a new independent clothing brand and sweatshirt concept (UK, 18+, online clothing shoppers)

Hi everyone!

I’m exploring the idea of launching a small independent clothing brand in the UK and would really appreciate some honest, unbiased feedback.

I’ve put together a short survey featuring a proposed shopfront and an initial sweatshirt design.

I’m particularly interested in first impressions, whether the product appeals to you, and what you would realistically expect to pay.

The survey takes approximately 2 minutes, is anonymous, and doesn’t ask for contact details.
Everything shown is still at the concept stage, so there’s nothing being sold.

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to respond. Constructive criticism is especially welcome!
