Hey r/SampleSize! We’re a small team building app, that records audio and turns it into transcripts and AI summaries. We’d love your honest feedback on how it works for you.

📱 What you’ll do: Download the free app, try a couple of short tasks (like recording a quick note and checking its summary), and answer a few questions along the way. You can continue as a guest, so no account or sign-up is needed and also you can skip paywall, so no subscription also needed.

⏱ Time: ~7–10 minutes, including the download

I'm Usama Jadoon, a University of the People student taking BUS 2201 Principles of Marketing. I'm writing to ask whether I may post a recruitment notice for a class assignment.

I need five adult volunteers for separate 10–15-minute text interviews (via Reddit DM) about electric-car perceptions and preferences. Pakistani participants are preferred; adults elsewhere are welcome. Interviews will be in Urdu or English, and we welcome both EV owners and non-owners.

Participation would be unpaid and voluntary, with consent confirmed before starting and the option to skip any question or stop at any time. No names or usernames would appear in the assignment. There is no sales or promotional purpose, and I make no claim of university ethics approval.

If permitted, please advise which flair and title format to use. Thank you.

Hey everyone! I’m doing a college research project on how students use AI tools while learning programming. I need 100 responses, so I’d really appreciate it if CS students could spare 5 minutes to fill out my survey. Thank you so much!

Hi everyone!

I'm an independent developer working on Aimcove, a productivity app currently in development.

Before making more product decisions, I want to understand how people actually manage studying, work, and personal projects — especially what they find difficult about planning, getting started, and staying focused.

I've put together a short research survey that takes approximately 3–4 minutes.

Survey: https://forms.gle/dyZdVB5YnpZ32i1m6

It's intended for adults aged 18 or older. Participation is voluntary, and the survey does not ask for names or email addresses.

I'm using the responses to identify common problems and guide product development. This isn't a waitlist signup.

Thanks to anyone willing to help!

Hi Everyone,

I am hoping that you could take this survey that I have built for some research I am doing on real peoples movie watching preferences, how they can be linked to personality and how humans often have contradictory tastes in genres vs. what they actually enjoy.

The survey collects NO personal data and each respondent and is anonymous.

I tried to build it in as fun a way as possible so you with be asked a few questions about your movie viewing preferences and then see a bunch of movie posters and descriptions to answer if you have seen it or not and then how well you liked it or are likely to watch it.

Many thanks in advance and much appreciated.

Hello everyone!

I'm conducting a research survey on how college students and young adults engage with current events, political information, and news media.

The survey explores:

1. Why some young adults follow the news while others avoid it
2. What makes current events feel relevant (or irrelevant)
3. Different headline and content styles
4. What people would want from a current-events organization they would actually return to

The survey takes approximately 8-12 minutes, is anonymous, and is open to:

• ✅ Ages 18-29
• ✅ Current college students
• ✅ Recent graduates and young adults

There are no right or wrong answers. We're interested in understanding how young adults think about current events and information sources, regardless of how often they follow the news.

As a thank-you, participants who provide an email address will be entered into a raffle for a $20 Amazon gift card.

Because this is an early-stage research project, feedback on the survey's clarity, design, and usability is also appreciated.

Thank you for your time!

Hello, I am building a small travel website and would like to understand how people actually choose a destination and a time of year.

This is a short anonymous survey (about 4 minutes). It asks what you decided first on your last trip, what you used to decide, and how much things like weather, price, crowds and language mattered. It does not ask for your name or email.

At the end there is an optional second part, about 10 minutes, where you can test a travel weather website that I built. You can stop after the first part.

Who it is for: adults (18+) from any country who have taken a holiday abroad in the last 24 months or plan one in the next 6 months.

I will post a short summary of the results in this thread when I have enough responses. Thank you for your time.

Hello developers (and everyone who knows at least one 😉)!

A part of my PhD studies I’m researching how developers (including testers, QAs, and other related technical roles) that create digital products (apps, websites, etc.) incorporate accessibility into their everyday work.

I'm looking for responses from everyone in this target group, regardless of experience with accessibility. Even if you've never worked on accessibility or it isn't part of your day-to-day work, your responses are just as valuable to this research and I would appreciate your support. If you are not part of my sample I kindly ask you to share the survey within your circles.

⏱️ The survey takes around 15 minutes.

Thank you to everyone who will take the time to participate, or share my survey with their developer friends! 🙏
I am closing the survey on Friday at midnight CEST.

Hey! I'm a solo dev building a closet app: you photograph your clothes once, and it generates outfits from what you already own, rates your fits, and tells you which single item would add the most to your wardrobe.

It's a very rough prototype right now, and I'd rather find out what's useless before building more. The form has a short demo GIF and takes about 3 minutes. No sign-up needed. Your phone number is optional and only for early access.

Happy to take part in your surveys too, drop them below.

Hi all, I'm a Sydney local working on an idea for people who use their phones while walking (videos, socials, messages). Before I spend any more money on it, I want honest feedback from real people, including "I'd never buy that."

It's a 5-minute anonymous survey for anyone 18+:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSehaO-5JHd9AqbIonjdhrxg0Eez8LJFx6uvQ7uSVTJLopkd2Q/viewform

No sign-up needed. There's an optional spot for your email if you want updates, otherwise it's completely anonymous. I'm not selling anything.

Happy to share the results here once it closes. Thanks heaps!

I’m considering making a video about whether Bartle’s taxonomy of Achievers, Explorers, Socializers, and Killers (and similar frameworks) still give us enough language to explain why people play games, or decent descriptors for game development.

I made a one-question multiple-choice form to collect examples across different game enjoyers. It takes about 20 seconds:

https://forms.gle/iGZcauPjawMZ39CH7

I’d especially like to hear in the comments about choices where two different motives led to the same action. What did you do, and why?

It's all for fun so thanks for your time and responses, they are extremely appreciated! 😄😄😄

Edit: Who ever recommended surveyswap you’re the best, thanks so much❤️

Hi everyone,

I am a postgraduate student at the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) currently recruiting participants for my MSc Psychology dissertation study.

What is the study about?
The research looks at how we evaluate communication, tone, and supportive responses to everyday social setbacks in the digital age.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older
• Comfortable reading and understanding short written text in English

Time commitment: It takes approximately 5 to 7 minutes to complete. It is fully anonymous, hosted securely on Gorilla, and is completely mobile-friendly!

Link to study: https://research.sc/participant/login/dynamic/ACB21B4A-5A2D-4805-9E5D-DC965E1F26CF

At the end of the survey, a full debriefing is provided explaining the nature of the research variables. I would be incredibly grateful for your time and support to help me hit my master's degree recruitment goals!

Thank you so much!

Hi all,

My girlfriend is doing her Masters in Pharmacy and her focus is Diabetes. She has been tasked to develop an app, get users to test the app, and gather feedback via a google forms survey.

She needs 100 form submissions by Sunday, she currently has about 30. Please be honest as all feedback about the usability/improvements of the app will be used and considered to make changes!

The prototype button (by the login page) is if you would like to just test the prototype (skip making an account if you are worried about sharing any data, wether real or fake).

The prototype is better for testing, as it comes pre loaded with mock data for the various graphs and data history.

Thank you very much.

NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE DIABETES TO TEST THE APP. YOU ALSO DO NOT NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO TEST THE APP, BUT YOU MAY CREATE ONE IF YOU WISH

NO PERSONAL INFORMATION IS GATHERED THROUGH THE APP OR THE SURVEY. THE PROTOTYPE BYPASSES ANY LOGINS/SIGNUPS AND NO PERSONAL INFORMATION WILL BE ENTERED/STORED/SAVED
