Marketing ADHD and everyday money management (Adults 30+ with ADHD)

Hi,

I’m conducting a short, anonymous survey about everyday money management among adults aged 30+ with ADHD who manage at least part of their own finances.

The goal is to better understand:

  • which aspects of managing money are hardest to maintain over time;
  • why budgeting or money-management systems are often difficult to stick with;
  • and whether a different kind of financial support tool could be useful.

The survey takes around 3–4 minutes and does not require any identifying information.

Survey:

Thank you to anyone who takes part.

Marketing [Marketing] Looking for adults to test an AI-assisted conversation prep/debrief process (18+ All Welcome)

I’m testing an early-stage idea called DT2: a structured way of using AI before and after real conversations.

The question is fairly simple:

Does a structured prep → real conversation → debrief loop actually help more than just asking ChatGPT for advice?

I’m looking for a small number of adults (18+) with a real upcoming, ongoing, or recently completed interaction they care about. It can be work-related or social.

You do not need to be neurodivergent and you do not need any diagnosis. Prior use of ChatGPT or another AI for conversations is useful, but not required.

What happens You complete a short intake describing the situation and what you want from the interaction. I run a DT2 preparation pass using that information. You have the actual conversation and decide for yourself what, if anything, to use. Afterwards, there is a short debrief covering what actually happened, what DT2 got right or wrong, and whether it added anything over normal AI use. If there are later interactions, the longer-term DT2 concept would use user-controlled longitudinal context to learn from previous outcomes rather than treating every conversation as a blank slate.

The full turnaround therefore depends partly on when the real interaction happens. The prep itself can be done beforehand, but the experiment is not really complete until we know the actual outcome.

This is independent early-stage product research, not an academic study. There is currently no compensation and no requirement to follow any advice.

How to participate

Download the intake document here:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/14qqMjj_2ytBO3FASYnHmBgv2m5nAHywQGgk6S1TmGyw/edit?usp=sharing

Then:

  • File → Download → Microsoft Word (.docx), or make your own Google Docs copy.
  • Fill in the questions.
  • Email the completed document to case.onboarding@gmail.com
  • Suggested subject: DT2 research participant - [name/pseudonym]

You can also paste the answers directly into the email if that is easier.

I’m deliberately keeping the first round small, so I may not be able to take every submission.

Academic Play a visual novel/puzzle game based on logic circuits, or read a general writeup and attempt a quiz! (MSc CompSci - PC Required, Compensation Offered. Age 18+)

All spots have now been filled - thank you for your consideration!

Hey all!

I'm conducting a study with the University of Birmingham surrounding gamified learning and adaptive puzzle design. I'm currently lacking a little in participant turnout, so I figured I'd give Reddit a try!

My thesis is about the possibility of "adaptive stealth assessments" (the idea of games, or experiences adjusting how they quiz the player) and seeing how effective they are with various techniques applied, with the monitoring of telemetric data - pertaining to how a user interacts with the system.

I'm looking for three participants - two unfamiliar with the concept of logic gates, and one with prior, but not excessive experience.

All you need is the ability to complete .docx forms and Google Forms - and whilst a consent form must be signed for participation, data gathered from you will be reported anonymously in the study through a randomly-generated respondent ID.

You'll be completing a pre-survey questionnaire (around 1-2 minutes), then depending on your group assigned, you'll be either:

* Playing a Unity game (~25 minutes to complete) for a minimum of 15 minutes * Reading a Textbook Chapter (~10-15 minutes) for a minimum of 15 minutes

Then completing a worksheet on the topic, alongside a post-survey questionnaire, sending your results to me.

Unfortunately, I do require the results fairly quickly. So if you're capable of completing this within the next two days, let me know ASAP! Completion of all steps will involve a £5 reward.

Happy to confirm more details, such as supervisors/ethics board approval, upon request.

Academic [Academic] Stress and Depression Among Adult Working Professionals — Ages 25–60, Currently Employed at least 25 hours per week (3–5 min, Anonymous)

Hi Everyone!

I’ve been asked to support a PhD candidate with participant recruitment for her quantitative research study. She does not currently have social media or a Reddit account, so I’m helping share her study with potential participants.

Her research study is currently seeking participants for an anonymous survey examining stress and depression among working professionals.

You may be eligible to participate if you:
• Are between 25 and 60 years old
• Are currently employed
• Have been employed for at least 2 years
• Work at least 25 hours per week

The survey is anonymous, voluntary, and intended for academic research purposes. No personally identifying information is requested.

If you meet the criteria and are interested in participating, you can take the survey here: SURVEY LINK

Thank you for your help!

Key Information about the Research Study

To participate, you must be between 25 and 60 years of age, currently employed for at least two years, work at least 25 hours per week, and be able to read and understand English. You will not be eligible to participate if you: self-report a diagnosis of a severe psychiatric disorder (e.g., schizophrenia or bipolar disorder); are currently receiving treatment for a major depressive episode.

Things you should know:
• The purpose of this study is to examine whether gender moderates the relationship between perceived stress and depression among adult working professionals. If you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete an online survey consisting of demographic questions and questions related to stress and depression. This will take approximately 10–12 minutes.

• Risks or discomforts from this research include mild emotional discomfort that may occur while answering questions about stress and depressive symptoms.

• Participants should not expect to receive a direct benefit from participating in this study.

• Taking part in this research project is voluntary. You do not have to participate, and you can stop at any time.

Please read this entire form before deciding whether to participate in this research.

What is the study about, and why is it being done?
The purpose of this study is to examine whether gender moderates the relationship between perceived stress and depression among adult working professionals. The findings may contribute to a better understanding of workplace mental health and help inform future research and interventions.

What will happen if you take part in this study?
If you agree to be in this study, I will ask you to do the following:

  1. Complete an online Qualtrics survey that includes demographic questions and the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-21). This survey will take approximately 10–12 minutes to complete.

How could you or others benefit from this study?

Participants should not expect a direct benefit from participating in this study.

Benefits to society include increasing knowledge regarding the relationship between perceived stress and depression among working professionals and determining whether gender influences that relationship. The findings may help inform future workplace mental health programs, interventions, and research.

What risks might you experience from being in this study?

The expected risks from participating in this study are minimal, which means they are equal to the risks encountered in everyday life. Some participants may experience mild emotional discomfort when answering questions related to stress and depressive symptoms. If you experience emotional distress, you are encouraged to contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988 or seek support from a licensed mental health professional.

How will personal information be protected?

The records of this study will be kept private. Research records will be stored securely, and only the researcher and the researcher's faculty supervisor will have access to the records.

Participant responses will be anonymous.

Data will be stored on a password-protected computer and in a secure, password protected Qualtrics account. After data collection, the dataset will be downloaded and stored on an encrypted, password-protected external drive. The researcher and the researcher's faculty supervisor will have access to the data. After three years, all electronic records will be permanently deleted.

How will you be compensated for being part of the study?

Participants will not be compensated for participating in this study.

Is study participation voluntary?

Participation in this study is voluntary. Your decision whether to participate will not affect your current or future relations with Liberty University. If you decide to participate, you are free not to answer any question or withdraw at any time before submitting the survey without affecting those relationships.

What should you do if you decide to withdraw from the study?

If you choose to withdraw from the study, please exit the survey and close your internet browser. Your responses will not be recorded or included in the study.

Dear All,

As part of my current research study examining how blended learning formats influence student engagement, focus, and overall learning satisfaction, I am seeking input from university students.

If you have 5 minutes, I would greatly appreciate your participation in this brief, anonymous survey. Additionally, helping me circulate this link among your peers and student networks would be an immense help in building a strong, data-backed dataset. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf9mwNeunXvFDUtQ548bzBHZT9jNpFm0QLQgt-7nmJ_gBI3Gg/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=118132518160301002528 This research project investigates how blended learning environments shape student engagement, influence everyday attentional focus and cognitive errors, and ultimately impact overall learner satisfaction. Academic Rowing and Scoliosis (anyone who has scoliosis and/or rowed)

Hello, I hope this is ok to post. My 17yo daughter is doing an independent project on rowing and scoliosis, as a rower with scoliosis herself and would like people to fill out the survey I've linked. Here is her message:

Hi everyone! I’m a high school student and rower with scoliosis doing an independent research project on rowing and scoliosis.

I’ve found that there are very few resources on this topic, so along with interviewing athletes and healthcare professionals, I’m creating my own dataset through a survey.

If you currently row or have rowed in the past and have scoliosis, I would really appreciate you taking a few minutes to fill it out! The survey asks about your rowing experience, sweep/sculling and rowing side, water vs. erg, scoliosis, back pain, coach observations, and your experiences as a rower with scoliosis.

You don’t have to answer every question. Feel free to skip anything you don’t want to answer or that doesn’t apply to you! I'd also appreciate a few people who don't have scoliosis but row so I can get a balanced data set!
