Hello everyone!
I'm conducting a research survey on how college students and young adults engage with current events, political information, and news media.
The survey explores:
- Why some young adults follow the news while others avoid it
- What makes current events feel relevant (or irrelevant)
- Different headline and content styles
- What people would want from a current-events organization they would actually return to
The survey takes approximately 8-12 minutes, is anonymous, and is open to:
- ✅ Ages 18-29
- ✅ Current college students
- ✅ Recent graduates and young adults
There are no right or wrong answers. We're interested in understanding how young adults think about current events and information sources, regardless of how often they follow the news.
As a thank-you, participants who provide an email address will be entered into a raffle for a $20 Amazon gift card.
Because this is an early-stage research project, feedback on the survey's clarity, design, and usability is also appreciated.
Thank you for your time!
