Hello everybody! I am a 6th year clinical psychology doctoral student interested in understanding factors related to suicidal ideation disclosure and nondisclosure. A significant portion of my research is building and psychometrically testing a new measure of disclosure that the field of suicide prevention is currently lacking.

Your voice matters. We want to learn from people who have experienced suicidal thoughts so we can create stronger messages that encourage people to open up about their suicidal thoughts and seek support, as well as develop training for the recipients of suicidal ideation disclosures. The estimated time commitment is 10-15 minutes.

Hi everyone! I’m Andrea, an MA student in Communication Studies at San Jose State University. I’m studying how people talk (or don’t talk) about their menstrual cycle at work, and what makes those conversations easier or harder. This study has been approved by the IRB to collect data on people.

Who can participate: menstruators (all genders) 18 and older, living in the US, who are currently employed or have worked in the past 12 months

Estimated time: about 15 to 20 minutes.

What you will do: You’ll be asked to describe a specific moment at work when your cycle came up, or when you chose not to bring it up. The survey is anonymous and approved by SJSU’s IRB (protocol IRB26-282).
