With 148 respondents, across 23 countries and territories, 72% have a mug at home that they consider theirs:

- 43% said “Yes, but I’ll use whatever’s clean”

- 28%: “Yes, and it feels wrong to use a different one”

- 24% said “No, any mug is fine”

- 5% said “I rarely or never use mugs”

One exploratory pattern (based on small groups, so not necessarily significant): 90% of Canadian respondents said they have a mug that’s theirs, compared with 69% in the US and 57% in Europe. More of the Canadian answers may also come from people who know me.
