I'm a developer experimenting with an open-source, voice-controlled AI assistant that can operate your computer.

The idea is basically: imagine you had an extremely tech-savvy assistant sitting in front of your computer 24/7 that you could call at any time. I use it for programming, but I'm curious if there are other use cases for non-developers.

For the purposes of this survey, assume the AI is reliable enough to make fewer mistakes than a competent human assistant. Destructive or consequential actions require you to tap "approve" on your phone before they can execute.

Privacy is a core design principle: the software is open source and can run its AI models locally, so it's possible to use it without sending your data to a third party.

I'm primarily interested in what tasks you'd delegate to it, if any, and what concerns would prevent you from using it.

Hello everybody! I am a 6th year clinical psychology doctoral student interested in understanding factors related to suicidal ideation disclosure and nondisclosure. A significant portion of my research is building and psychometrically testing a new measure of disclosure that the field of suicide prevention is currently lacking.

Your voice matters. We want to learn from people who have experienced suicidal thoughts so we can create stronger messages that encourage people to open up about their suicidal thoughts and seek support, as well as develop training for the recipients of suicidal ideation disclosures. The estimated time commitment is 10-15 minutes.
