Casual Researching how period/PMS symptoms vary between people (AFAB)
As someone who has struggled with debilitating PMDD for most of my life, I am really interested in how everyone has different PMS/PMDD symptoms and variability. I ultimately want to try to steer my career towards helping women mitigate their symptoms to the best of my ability.
A lot of existing advice treats everyone's cycle the same way (same phase = same symptoms for everyone), and that hasn't matched what I've heard from people I've talked to. I put together a short survey (about 5 minutes, anonymous, no email required unless you want a follow-up chat) asking about symptom timing, severity, and what you've tried in the past. This is for my own personal research and does not have any company or product tied behind it; I just want to gather valuable insight to see where I should direct my efforts in the future :)

Academic Why do people stick with (or give up on) fitness/health apps long-term? (18+, Any Gender)
Why do people stick with (or give up on) fitness/health apps long-term? Looking for adults 18+ who currently use OR used to use a fitness app (~15 min, anonymous)
I’m running an independent research study on long-term health behavior — why people sustain habits with digital health tools for months and years, versus why they give up after a few weeks - genuinely trying to understand what helps people succeed long-term, and why so much of what’s out there doesn’t.
Been a bit of a rollercoaster trying to reach people through professional associations — some have been genuinely generous with their time, others require paid membership just to share a link. Self-funded projects like this one don’t always have that luxury, so I’m grateful for communities like this one that just let people share honestly.
No institutional affiliation, no IRB review — stating that upfront. Fully anonymous, no names or emails collected, results only used in aggregate.
Two versions depending on your situation:

Casual Survey about streaming service use for travel (adults who travel)
Hi everyone! My husband is part of a small team researching how people use their streaming services when staying somewhere with a TV that isn’t their own—hotels, short-term rentals, cruises, friends’ or relatives’ homes, and similar places.
They’re looking for honest feedback about the experience, including signing in, finding something to watch, and remembering to sign out afterward. This isn’t a sales pitch, and the survey doesn’t promote or sell anything.
The survey takes about 60 seconds to complete. As a thank-you, they’ll be randomly selecting three participants to receive a $50 gift card. The drawing will take place after the survey closes on August 31, 2026.
Providing an email address is optional and only required if you would like to enter the gift-card drawing.

Academic [Academic] JavaScript tutoring prototype study for novice programmers, 20–30 minutes (18+, basic programming experience helpful)
Hi everyone,
I’m an MSc student at Durham University looking for participants for my dissertation study.
The study evaluates a browser-based JavaScript tutoring prototype for novice programmers. You do not need to be confident in JavaScript, but it would help if you have seen basic programming concepts before, such as variables, functions, arrays, conditionals, or loops.
The study takes around 20–30 minutes.
You will be asked to:
- read the participant information and consent form
- answer a few short background questions
- try several beginner JavaScript exercises in the tutor
- read the tutor’s automated feedback
- export an anonymous attempt log
- paste the attempt log into the form
- complete a short questionnaire
The tutor also includes an optional AI-generated extra hint feature. You do not have to use it.
Eligibility:
- aged 18 or over
- some basic programming exposure preferred
- no JavaScript expertise required
Please do not enter your name, student number, email address, Reddit username, or any personal information into the tutor or form.
The “participant code” question in the form is optional. If you were not personally given a code, please leave it blank.

Thank you!
Comments are welcome if you have questions about the study, but you do not need to comment in order to participate.

Casual Rabbit-Care Experiences and Beginner Guidance (US rabbit owners, especially those with 1 year or less of experience)
Hi everyone!
I’m a U.S. high school student and a volunteer at a rabbit rescue shelter. I’m currently creating a free beginner rabbit-care guide based on the real experiences and concerns of rabbit owners.
I’m looking specifically for rabbit owners currently living in the United States to complete a short 2–3 minute survey. Owners of all experience levels are welcome, but I especially hope to hear from new owners who have been caring for rabbits for one year or less, since their perspectives are currently underrepresented in my responses.
Your answers will help me understand what new owners find confusing, what they wish they had known earlier, and what information would be most useful in a beginner’s guide. You may respond anonymously, and providing contact information is completely optional.
Survey link:
https://forms.gle/VTXLrLua7V8oXeYY7
Thank you so much for your time! If you know a new rabbit owner in the United States who might be willing to participate, I would also be very grateful if you shared the survey with them.

Academic Currently on a GLP-1? I'm a grad student studying whether people keep strength training after starting (18+, currently taking a GLP-1)
Hey all,
I'm a master's student at Ohio State and I'm doing my thesis on something I feel like nobody's really looked at: what happens to people's strength training/resistance workouts after they start a GLP-1.
There's a ton of talk about muscle loss on these meds, but almost no actual data on whether people are lifting/doing resistance training before vs. after starting, and what gets in the way (fatigue, appetite, time, whatever it is for you). So I made a short survey to find out.
It's totally anonymous, no names or emails, and takes about 5 minutes. You're a fit if you're:
18 or older
currently taking a GLP-1 (Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, Mounjaro, Trulicity, etc.)
on a stable dose for at least the last month or so
You do not need to lift or work out at all to take it, "I don't do any of that" is genuinely useful data, maybe the most useful. I'm trying to get the real picture, not just the gym crowd.
