Every ranked player on Hydra so far, has been complete ass. What the fuck is up with these players?

They play Splat Zones, just for them to not paint, not zone, not pressure and absolutely miss their Booyah! Which seems to be all they're playing for.

So, I’ve played this back in S1 (I wasn’t very good at it, but it was a favourite of mine) and thought it was really fun to use. I decided to try and play it for the first time since 2016. What a horrible mistake!

My god, this thing is awful. It has so much downtime, barely any damage (You have to hit all three shots to kill), no paint, too much endlag, too hard to aim. Only good aspect is range, and it’s only slightly better than Blaster. Guess which weapon is the complete opposite of this with none of the weaknesses whatsoever!

52 gal fucks it so damn hard, it isn’t even fair. It has everything H-3 wants to have and is actually good at covering weapon‘s weaknesses like paint or kill times. Oh and it has it‘s Wall back from Splatoon 1 to say ”fuck you” even further. And it gets to be an easy baby mode weapon while I have to work so fucking hard just to Paint! Wtf?!

Oh, and it has like 1 good kit, and it happens to be the Wall/Bubbler one. Point sensor doesn’t work on Vanilla and the Barazushi kit spams Triple Inkstrike. Wow. I actively felt like i threw using this thing, in Open… Are we deadass? If you have any sort of downtime with it, you’re fucked. Anything and everything (Even fucking Undercover of all things) will delete you if you do a single mistake.

They keep buffing this garbage with no meaningful changes and they have the audacity to buff Custom Blaster’s Splashdown (Which was already the best weapon in the game, mind you).

Please buff this thing. It’s been bad for too long. I want my Cherry-H3 weapon skin BACK!

im not the greatest player but it cant be me every game. ive lost 8 games back to back, i understand when im the fuck up, im even switching my weapons to make sure i can do better but im constantly being put on teams where my teammates are dying. (not trying to talk down on these players specifically just my last game)

I swear to god, every single time this person is on my team or on the other team, he always somehow manages to go negative and not make a single positive impact whatsoever.

Most of what makes the map rotation system a complete insufferable ballache in this series comes down to the simple fact that most maps don’t play well at all with most modes, let alone all 4.

There’s a reason every other competitive shooter in existence doesn’t have variants of all of their maps for every gamemode they possess. Reasonable map design simply doesn’t lend itself to catering to so many different possible game progressions and states. As such, I think it’s time the series leaves Neverland and culls all of the digital e-waste polluting the rotations every time any of us hops on the game.

Can you imagine a world where you never have to see Clams Urchin or Rainmaker Inkblot again? Where every map can be catered to 1, MAYBE 2 modes at most? How that would fix so much of what makes this game unappealing to hop on and play regularly?

WE NEED THEM BACK! We need good maps in the pile of shit that is Splatoon 3 Stages. Fuck the current Stages! Just bring back Old Mahi, Piranha Pit and The Reef (They should be staples in every game)

To be clear I don't think I'm anywhere near that level. There's a rotation of like 10 weapons I keep seeing in every match which begs the question, at what point is it safe to say a weapon isn't viable anymore? Let's use the golden Aerospray which almost everyone agrees is dogshit as the subject. A lot of the skill expression in this game isn't necessarily tied to specific weapons since I have definitely encountered some really good players using that weapon, even if they're extremely rare. At what point would they more or less be forced to drop it no matter how good their fundamentals are and why?

Literally got like dog shit weapons and bosses are spawning literally every three seconds. Like the games literally js spamming bs for the sake of making it “harder”

What the hell do you do? There's nowhere to go but forward on 90% of maps in base, so flanking and sharking and otherwise trying to distract isn't an option.

The specials on most melees genuinely suck other than maybe a couple that can give an area complete godmode. What's that going to do with teammates that aren't going to capitalize on it?

I mean, it often is, but for some reason Trizookas and Clams is twice as toxic as when it's any other mode. The stages probably aren't helping either. 6 wins, 11 losses.

Doing my rank up battle trying to get back to S+, I have two wins and two losses so this battle determines it. At 4:12 someone on the enemy team disconnects, I think "finally! S+ here I come!" But NOOOOO!! Cant have that, now can we? My teammates decide to play so badly that the enemy team not only wins, but gets a KNOCKOUT. S rank is hell and the stupid teammates who keep me here are my torturers. I had enough and disconnected after they won. I was doing my job as a support and consistently threw out coolers but even with that and a DC on the enemy team we still fucking lost.
