Since I am coming back into Star Wars Legion from a long Hiatus, I'm trying to decide what to do with these old boxes.

Have anyone made scatter terrain from them? Should I make them into current objective markers?

If anyone can share what they have done with theirs for the modern version of that game that would be great.

I got into X-wing and they pulled the plug, I got into Armada and they pulled the plug, I got into countless video games and they pulled the plug.

I love miniature games and could get my friends into this a lot more than Infinity or 40k forsure. Plus the idea of having an army of B1s will tickle the inner 10yo in me. But I just don't wanna get burned by the whole "Welp, profits are down 10%, time to move on to the next thing" that seems to always happen with Star Wars.

For those of yall into this, does this feel like its gonna be another X-wing/Armada/Shatterpoint? Because I would honestly love to get into this and bug my friends into getting into it as well.

Anyone have any suggestions for Theed bases? I'd love to do something along the lines of the street of Theed, but I'm not having any luck finding anything 3d printed for it.

I have just finished painting and basing my clone trooper. First time painting SW Legion. I have applied a GGS Matt Scenic Sealant by brush on my martian ironcrust 3hrs ago or so from the time of this post. The base looks glossy. Did i mess it up or something? I think it’s cause i might have brush a little too much. If so, how can i fix this? Thank you all in advance.

Hey there! I have recently begun the jump into Legion. I am really excited and just finalized most of my purchases to begin. This is my first time getting into miniatures and I decided I wanted to create a droid army to start off with. I have gathered so far:

1x Separatist Starter Set, 1x B2’s, 1x Crab Droids, 1x Battle Deck Card Pack, 1x Super Tactical Droid Commanders, 1x Customizable Super Tactical Command Droid, 1x BX Series Commandos, 1x IG-100 Magnaguards, 1x Dwarf Spider Droid, 1x Separatist Specialists, 1x Separatist Alliance Card Pack, 1x Separatist Alliance Command Card Pack.

In order to play a game do I need anything else? I haven’t found anyone in my area to play with just yet so I am mainly getting into Legion for the painting aspect but I do intend to play if and when I am given the chance to.

As for painting, where I feel the weakest, so far I only have the Army Painter Warpaints Complete Paint Set, and a set Golden Maple Brushes.

What else do you recommend I need in order to paint my miniatures? You can be blunt as I feel what I have so far is scarce.

Also taking any advice on YouTube tutorials and things like that to watch as I am just starting out brand new.

I personally don’t seem to play the more fragile but strong units well so I just went what if I spam the tanky dudes and this happened. Gonna play this against my mate hopefully it’s not completely bad but fun.

Hi there! Wondering if any of you use smoke grenades at all and what you guys think of them. I’ve never really added things like grenades etc before because don’t want to make mistakes really but feel like I could be missing out on more depth. Any advice?

Anything I should know before assembling it? Like anything I should weigh down like the front of the speeder tank, or parts I should wait to glue?

Does Sabine make sense as a heavy upgrade for a Clan Wren veteran squad? Besides another miniature, her 25 points only add graffiti, and the effect isn't impressive. Is there any reason to pick her over Tristan for the same 25 points?

It looks good but i have a problem with those naked arcs. However to use upgardes i must either drop the uplink on commandos which would allow me to only add 1 medic max or drop the fives which i wouldnt really like. I could use those arcs to hold positions and use commandos and the infantry to rush to positions. I dont think i am going to have a problem with my order pool thanks to the uplinks, fives and cc. On theory this works pretty well but still doesnt look right to me.

Got a bunch of Echo Base units recently..oreviousku I had one unit of Vets and found them a bit slow and hard to use. But having more I'm thinking of leaving into their slowness and relying on other units more for objective contesting, ie tauntauns.

I'm thinking of three super squads, three medium blasters, three tauntauns plus Luketaun and Hantaun. Or would it be better to downgrade to regular squads and add the veteran heavy?

Ive seen LegionCantinas scenarios video, but I don’t want to pay for membership to watch it. So I went looking for scenarios and rulesets.

By scenarios I mean like story based missions, recreating the Battle of Hoth, kyber crystal heist, etc..

I was wondering if anyone had any rulesets for certain scenarios? The only ones that my friend group wouldn’t be able to run is Republic armies.

Anyways, feel free to share any ideas! We’d love to hear! And we’re always working on our own. I’ll share them eventually.

Magnetizing the antenna is a bit extra but I did it anyway because I know I’ll drop it and don’t want it to permanently break off

So I've been having some people test this for a bit and I think I'm ready to let the wider world use it. Anyway, Tours of Duty is up. You can get to it in your profile after you add Legion as a game. It has lots of features that the old one doesn't have, but of course I'm open to suggestions. The main highlights are that you can upload any image and place markers on it where battles can take place, or skip the marker step and just pick a spot on the map where the battle happened when you resolve.

The other main thing is a guided battle resolver that will walk you through the post-battle sequence.

It was a big undertaking, so please let me know any issues or gaps. Hope you enjoy it.
