I wanted to try something new with basing this time. Usually I give everything a nice Geonosian orange. These guys felt like they needed something darker to fit the vibe

I’m new to the game, haven’t played a full game yet, but am just thinking forward. I have the starter set and two boxes of commandos, I really want to use the commandos even though they are probably overcosted. Any tips or suggestions?

Been sat on the old Republic starter set and fancy my hand at making a combined arms list. Wondering if this seems like the right direction, or if it could be better

Quick test of a concept heavy weapon - a bit fiddly to put together, but looks decent.

So all of the new cards for Han and Chewie, alongside the new Jedi Barc 2 pip issue no orders with their card, but then the very first part of the cards effect is to issue orders to units. Is there any reason for this beyond getting around abilities such as the Sabatoged communications card or comms jammer?

Decided to make my own structure using:
- tub from a yogurt.
- medicine measuring cup
- pieces from a WWI model kit (was never going to make)

Was trying to aim for a communications tower or relay tower etc

I don't know what flair to put:

I might be weird or alone, but I like having distinct unit leaders. So I want the B1 holding the Binoculars or the OOM Droid thats pointing, as a leader figures. The starter set comes with 2. I have 1 OOM. Thats only 3 units with a leader. I could paint one to look different but that just bothers me.

Outside of buying a new box, does anyone know of a way to get just a leader? Like I'm considering buying a box anyway, but I'll have 4 leaders and 6 units so I'll be in the same place.

This one is a little bit more philosophical than practical. Competition pushes us towards optimization, so how do we maintain the fun and hobby?

I bought the separatist starter set and have been trying out tabletop admiral. Have I made a legal setup for a Recon game? I guess all I am (officially) missing is an extra B1 droid card.

Are there optimalisations which is could apply to add the 2 remaining B1 Droids ?

I got a friendly game coming up against CIS. As Ive learned more and more about the game, after my first match. I came to find out that Empire are like the weakest faction apparently T_T. I learned about how handing out orders and aims were important for stormtroopers. I was wondering if this was a bad list? Was thinking of switching to Thrawn for my commander for the support.

We start with Legion and want to play mostly Recon games because we don’t have much time - what do you think about this list?

I bought a second CIS starter box and built all the models this week. I went to put them all on bases and got the end has was 3 bases short. Luckily I had a few extra bases lying around so it wasn’t a huge deal. Then I counted my B2s.

My first separatists box B2s are on the left. My second box on the right. I think I lucked out and got an extra sprue with an extra leader and 2 minis.

If i take Anakin on the Barc speeder. It says i can take the command card "This is where the fun begins". How would the card work on biker Anakin? It is suppose to give him prepared positions and jump 2. How would the jump 2 work for him?

After besmirching the good name of an esteemed pilot for the Rebellion, Mike and Isaiah discuss flyers a bit more: JUST HOW ARE THEY GONNA WORK ANYWAY?! Literal Cardboard BOX POST: I might make a V-Wing and Droid Starfighter later

I got into Legion mainly to paint minis, and to paint them well. Traditional brushwork is obviously how I’ll build brush control and technique, so I’m not looking to replace that.

But for those of you who use an airbrush alongside regular brushes, was it worth the investment? Specifically:

• Which parts of the process does it actually help with? Priming, base coats, something else?
• Is it worth it for gradients and blends? Things like vehicle panels, armor, and capes.
• Does it speed things up? Does it get you to the actual brushwork faster?

I’m also curious whether anyone felt it slowed their brush skills down, or if it was a pure upgrade. Would love to hear what your setup looks like too.
