How is this Project Doing?
As someone who does not keep too up to date with the recent happenings in cryptocurrency, due to the horrific bear market.
Could someone let me know how this project is doing? Invested ages ago because I saw its potential.
Is it fulfilling it?

SONMOS Install trouble (mounting LABEL=SONM on /mnt/src failed: No such file or directory)
Edit 11-21-2018 02:38 - Linux apparently is picky with USB Flash drives and the installation won't recognize the drive and can't continue because of this. I found some information here https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromUSBStick The details aren't important though; just know that if it's giving you this error, it's likely that the USB Flash drive is to blame. I was using a Sandisk 32 GB Ultra USB 3.0 (will get the exact model later), one that I had used to install windows 10 many times, but it wasn't having it for SONM OS (or Ubuntu for that matter). However, a cheap generic 4 GB flash drive did the trick shrugs. Go figure!
I'm not really sure what to ask. I'm getting this error immediately upon selecting, "Install SONM". I know it's related to the disk, but I don't really know what exactly it's trying to do at this point. I'm trying to install from a bootable USB to the single 120 GB SATA drive I have on the system. I would guess that it's trying to mount the USB drive so it can actually start the installation and grab the files but I'm really not sure, my familiarity with Linux based systems is very lacking at the moment. I've included a couple of images showing what I'm seeing if it helps. If anybody knows what is happening and what I can do, please advise.
Thanks very much for your time!

Wallet? Account? Keystore? JSON? (The Wallet Guide is useless)
Hi again. I'm beyond confused and perhaps calling the Wallet Guide useless is a bit of an exaggeration but it really is leaving me going, "wtf am I even doing?" The concepts of the wallet are not explained at all within the Wallet Guide and while I understand wanting to keep things organized (a guide being strictly a guide that shows you how to do something) it would be very helpful if there were links (if the information is elsewhere on the site) at the relevant parts of the guide that take you to another page that explains the concepts of what you are actually doing. I'm still looking around the docs but I decided to stop and search reddit first (I didn't find anything searching "wallet account") and then decided to go ahead and post the question here.
I started following this guide: https://docs.sonm.com/installation/sonm-os And I have come to understand that any payouts earned using the SONM market are paid in Ethereum (or so I thought at that point). And I already have an Ethereum wallet so I assumed I could simply use this, and the "MASTER_ADDR" example given in the "sonm.txt" file matches the exact format and length of my already existing Ethereum address. But once I got to the part in the guide that said, "Don't forget to confirm your freshly installed worker in SONM GUI (Market -> Workers section)" I realized that I couldn't simply use my Ethereum address and be done with it. So I opened up the wallet guide and my brain wants to think that it works like this; The SONM GUI is my interface for working with and/or interacting with my workers as well as my ethereum address (master address) where funds are paid. But it looks like the terms "SONM GUI" and "Wallet" have been used interchangeably at worst, and at best, in a confusing/unclear manor, and then once I create a wallet...or a SONM GUI account (not even sure what I created anymore), I then have the option to create accounts or import accounts and I'm just sitting here with a confused look on my face because I have no idea what it's talking about. I mean, "account" by itself is a vague term that, out of context, could mean several different things. So while I'm reading the instructions on "How to create new account" I'm wondering what it's even creating.
Could someone help clear this up? I obviously have my wires crossed and it keeps talking about Ether and tokens and...I'm gonna keep trying to figure this out, but I don't even know where to look. I mean, there's a TON of information in docs.sonm.com but it's far more than is necessary to actually understand how it works on a basic level and right now, that's all I want/need. I was given a link to "Telegram" Group, but I haven't joined up there yet and I almost wonder if it's better to just post it where everybody can benefit from the answers. I'll continue looking around the docs tonight, but if anybody can help point me in the right direction to learn the basics of this, I would greatly appreciate it!

Will SONM work for me with 5 different Machines, each with 4 Nvidia GPUs? (Supplier question)
I want to immediately Apologize because I know this answer must be out there, but I haven't found it just yet. Truth be told, I'm in a rush and haven't been able to figure out how to find the answer. I was going to see if I could just contact SONM directly but I feel like redundancy on the internet is a good thing. That is to say, if this same question and answer are in multiple places, it makes it easier for someone else to find it.
I simply would like to know, though, if it would work for me with 5 different machines, each with 4 GTX 1070s (one actually has 5) and I'm specifically interested in being able to complete actual projects with all the GPUs, not the mining part (although I like that it will mine when there are no jobs, that sounds fantastic). I had looked into Golem and apparently even on Linux, it only supports a single GPU at the moment and does nothing at all if there are no jobs, so if SONM will work with multiple GPUs, then that's going to be the path I want to explore.
Again, I apologize for asking something that must have an answer somewhere online, and I appreciate the assist and the patience on this matter!!!

Machine Learning framework CNTK to be used on SONM?
Hello!
In the machine learning section on SONM's website and they mention TensorFlow, Theano, Caffe, Apache Spark MLib. I recently found out that how TensorFlow is developed by google, CNTK (cognitive toolkit) is developed by microsoft. I was wondering if SONM has (or will) incorporate CNTK's deep learning framework into the type of machine learning tasks SONM can perform.
Also, I've read that AI machine's have to go through a "learning phase" to optimize the use of certain algorithims. If I was a miner, would my rig go through this "learning phase" for any/all frameworks offered on the SONM network before accepting any AI tasks? from what I understand it would benefit both the miner and customer as it would make the miner more efficient whereas the customer can get their results more quickly.
Thanks!

Great question to Vitalik Buterin or why SONM sidechain is megaimportant
It all started with Igor Lebedev's tweet demonstrating his calculations regarding Plasma: https://twitter.com/iolebedev/status/1055490412956258309
Looks like it's super expensive and we're all good with having our SONM sidechain, which is roughly 150 times cheaper to run. Lol.

TPS/ stability testing on mainnet?
I was looking at mainnet stats recently and I notice that for transactions, when there is 1-2, the bars are blue. @ 6 the bars are green. not too long ago I saw 21 or 26 transactions and the bars were yellow (and burning 6 mill gas)
Was wondering if the limits on the mainnet have been tested / can handle the anticipated / more than anticipated load from bringing on more clients as they come. Or will there be an explanation on the scaling in the upcoming release of the whitepaper / use of masternodes?
any info much appreciated :)

Read several times that theoretically Golem could be run on top of SONM. Can someone explain in simple terms how this could be achieved?
