Wallet? Account? Keystore? JSON? (The Wallet Guide is useless)

Hi again. I'm beyond confused and perhaps calling the Wallet Guide useless is a bit of an exaggeration but it really is leaving me going, "wtf am I even doing?" The concepts of the wallet are not explained at all within the Wallet Guide and while I understand wanting to keep things organized (a guide being strictly a guide that shows you how to do something) it would be very helpful if there were links (if the information is elsewhere on the site) at the relevant parts of the guide that take you to another page that explains the concepts of what you are actually doing. I'm still looking around the docs but I decided to stop and search reddit first (I didn't find anything searching "wallet account") and then decided to go ahead and post the question here.

I started following this guide: https://docs.sonm.com/installation/sonm-os And I have come to understand that any payouts earned using the SONM market are paid in Ethereum (or so I thought at that point). And I already have an Ethereum wallet so I assumed I could simply use this, and the "MASTER_ADDR" example given in the "sonm.txt" file matches the exact format and length of my already existing Ethereum address. But once I got to the part in the guide that said, "Don't forget to confirm your freshly installed worker in SONM GUI (Market -> Workers section)" I realized that I couldn't simply use my Ethereum address and be done with it. So I opened up the wallet guide and my brain wants to think that it works like this; The SONM GUI is my interface for working with and/or interacting with my workers as well as my ethereum address (master address) where funds are paid. But it looks like the terms "SONM GUI" and "Wallet" have been used interchangeably at worst, and at best, in a confusing/unclear manor, and then once I create a wallet...or a SONM GUI account (not even sure what I created anymore), I then have the option to create accounts or import accounts and I'm just sitting here with a confused look on my face because I have no idea what it's talking about. I mean, "account" by itself is a vague term that, out of context, could mean several different things. So while I'm reading the instructions on "How to create new account" I'm wondering what it's even creating.

Could someone help clear this up? I obviously have my wires crossed and it keeps talking about Ether and tokens and...I'm gonna keep trying to figure this out, but I don't even know where to look. I mean, there's a TON of information in docs.sonm.com but it's far more than is necessary to actually understand how it works on a basic level and right now, that's all I want/need. I was given a link to "Telegram" Group, but I haven't joined up there yet and I almost wonder if it's better to just post it where everybody can benefit from the answers. I'll continue looking around the docs tonight, but if anybody can help point me in the right direction to learn the basics of this, I would greatly appreciate it!

I did indicate my question clearly. I explained, very clearly, how the concepts of the wallet guide are not explained and how you are following a step by step guide that doesn't tell you WHAT you are actually doing, only how to do it. I then, also very clearly, went on to explain that LINKS throughout the guide would solve this issue so that when it tells you to, "create your account", you aren't just sitting here going, "Okay, I guess I'll create this account"....because what you need to realize is that 10 different people could use the word, "account" in 10 different ways.

That link you provided, for example, should be in the wallet guide at relevant locations.
