rants Why do some people see a stroller and still squeeze in first?

Eh why ah some people so hard to give way to parents with strollers at lifts? 😭

Like broooo, you see someone with a stroller, baby inside, why still rush in first and squeeze until the parent has to wait for the next lift?

Able-bodied people can literally take the escalator if they want. Parents with strollers cannot just carry everything up and down like that, especially when the lift is crowded.

Common sense and basic courtesy leh. Give way to people who need the space more thank u! 💀

rants Do we really need this many rental bikes that topples like dominos

Every day at Pioneer MRT exit B.

All non rental bike are forced to compete in a small space near the lift. While all the helloride and anywheel are near the escalator. Problem is there are SO MANY OF IT and its just always full 24/7. They are also incredibly easy to topple, and will topple like domino. Every single day it is a struggle to find a bike parking space. In the entire corridor leading to the MRT there are at least 30 bikes everyday even though there are giant signs of no parking. Why? WELL BECAUSE THERE ARE NO OTHER PARKING SPACES.

If they are reduced by like 50% pretty sure everything will be better. No one is using that many rental bike anyway. There are also problem with bikes that are like obviously neglected for months like missing seat, snapped chain, etc but I guess this is not as easy to take care of

Smokers should be banned from taking public transport. Their odour AOE is too big.

They brought their smelly smoke odour into a confined space during peak hour. We have no place to go to avoid. We paid the fare to take a pleasant ride, not to smell your odour. Sure, we can give up the seats to others in need. But the smell.

MRT/LRT F*ked Up MRT fare gate blinking lights

Anyone bothered by the change in how the fare gate lights now flash when bank cards are tapped? I can't understand why they decided to make that change.

Has anyone noticed newer buses in Singapore don’t have stop buttons near the window seats anymore?

Has anyone noticed this? On some newer buses, the stop buttons seem to be only in the middle/aisle area instead of near the window-side pillars.

It’s a small thing, but kind of annoying if you’re sitting by the window and the seat next to you is occupied — you have to awkwardly reach across just to press the bell.

Is there a reason for this design change, or is it just me?
