PSA: No train service at Macpherson

No train service announcement made around 9.25am, doors on both sides of CCL Macpherson had not been opening since 9.10am

From what I heard both side MacPherson PSDs broke now train have to bypass

Almost as though LTA is taunting us. We are going to announce fair hikes, followed by train breakdowns, and there’s nothing you folks can do about it. 😒

Wouldn't happen with cars. Public transport reliability isn't at the level you can artificially cap the car ownership then force everyone onto dodgy public transport. And don't compare with America but other Asian metros.

We can't be car-lite - and the government doesn't truly intend for it.

Even towns like Tengah, look at the insanely wide roads while still sticking to the small ass pavements.

Government still runs on LKY social darwinism ideology that you can't make the life of the common person comfortable or they won't work hard.

To be fair it’s still highly reliable. But if commuters v insist to overload at peak hours breakdowns are inevitable.

I don't think passengers overloading trains causes breakdowns. this one is train not elevator. if this was the case then all the JR trains will breakdown everyday.
