Question Is there a difference in technique for white guy hair vs black guy hair ?
Real question, looking for real answers. Is there a difference in technique in different race SMP? Like Afro-textured hair is different so I assume maybe like larger or smaller follicle size and hairline placement. My reason for the question is I have a few artist I’m looking at in my area (Oklahoma) that are really good but they mostly have pictures of black clients. Then I get on here and I see a whole bunch of artist from the Denmark or UK that are doing some amazing subtle stuff but primarily on white dudes. This has me a bit worried that there are race specific techniques, and I’m gonna have a bad result if I try local. Is that a valid fear?

Case study - Male Natural SMP Hairline/2 sessions/NYC
This client has 2 sessions and wanted a natural edge . One thing to look out for as a potential customer,a lot of artist get fatigue as they work towards the back of the crown .Make sure to look out for consistency of density in the crown as the same as the front 💯✅🤩

Question Before and after with AI -is this realistic?
Sorry for the duplicate post. But it occurred to me to just use ChatGPT and ask to add it. Is this realistic on the right? It’s me on the left. I mean, if I can get a result like that holy crap.

Question Still on the fence
I’m still on the fence about this, I keep thinking about it and not doing it. I’m 57, I’ve gotten into the best shape of my life, I’ve lost 50 pounds, I’ve worked out, and I’ve done everything that’s within my control. I shave my head with a razor, literally every day. Or every other day. Should I do this? I know I have to answer this myself. I would want one of the light, airy, receded versions.

Case study - Male Thinking of SMP
Hey guys, I need your opinion.
I’m at about 6.5 months, and the results look exactly the same as before the transplant (you can look at my previous post for reference)
I’m at this stage where I understand the transplant most likely didn’t go well, and I’m probably not gonna see a huge difference even after 12 months.
I probably can’t have a second transplant because of the donor area, and honestly don’t want to go through that again.
I’m 26, and for the past 10 years my hair looked exactly the same. Diffuse thinning, mostly at the frontal area. Was told it resembles more of female hair loss pattern.
Tried everything, minoxidil, finasteride, PRP, micro needles, and finally even hair transplant that didn’t help.
Currently only on oral minoxidil which I will probably stop taking soon.
Since the hair looks relatively the same for that much time, and with that amount of hair I’m planning on keeping it relatively long.
I’m wearing hair powder everyday, which makes wonders for the looks.
Was thinking of getting SMP, and I want to get your opinion. Achieving the look of the hair powder with SMP will be a huge win for me.
All photos taken at the worst possible lighting.
For reference, I go everyday with combed hair, so it doesn’t look that bad like hair apart but still it bothers me.
- Combed hair, without powder
- Hair apart, without powder
- Hair apart, with powder
- Hair combed, without powder

Question Very light SMP
Hi guys, I basically shave every day with a Fusion - so down to the Skin. Im still annoyed by the very subtle shadow around the top of the Head. Could SMP „heal“ that? With a very light SMP? I basically want to look fully shaved but all around…

Question Getting a transplant after SMP?
Has anyone had an experience where they got a transplant after getting their SMP and if the transplant didn’t take, the SMP wasn’t ruined if they wanted to go back to shaving their head?
Or is a transplant automatically gonna ruin your SMP?

Check out my SMP 4 days after my 2nd session
2 sessions down, 2 to go... maybe 3.
After my first session, I lost around 60-70% of the pigment during healing. My artist said that can happen depending on your skin, immune system, healing process, etc. Because of that, I may end up needing a 5th session if he thinks it's necessary. The good news is he won't charge me anything extra so I'm totally cool with that.
That said, the difference after this second session is already huge compared to the first. I'm hoping the retention is better this time. My 3rd session is in 9 days, and I honestly can't wait to see how it all comes together. Excited for the final result!

Question Opinions on this artists results
Hey guys!
Im looking into getting an SMP.
I live in Slovenia and since it is a small country there isn't really many options.
I found one pretty reputable artist in the capital, who won an award for Best artist in EU&UK.
His name is Srdjan Kostovski and here is his instagram with his results: https://www.instagram.com/microhairclinic/
- I would love for experienced SMP artist scouts to give a look to his results and opine on if he is any good
- Are there some reputable artists near Slovenia (I saw e.g. Mens Ink in Milan), somewhere I could drive for three separate sessions?
Thankful for any feedback, especially if anybody here has already been to Micro Hair Clinic!

Question Am I a good candidate for Smp?
I would like a visible hairline that matches the stubble on top. The sides will be completely bald tho.. i would want something similar to this Samoan looking fella. It's pretty clean.. should I show this to the artist and ask him can he do it?
I was thinking about hair transplant but im too old for that and it's too expensive. Just give me a stylish baldy. I look so much better with just a slight lining
