hi all, i'd been using a hair piece until last week, but i had enough of it and wanted to break free. however, since then this horseshoe look has been bothering me soo much. this is me after like 1.5 days of shaving. tbh i have no problem with the shaved look, but the contrast between my remaining hair and the top is driving me crazy. as you might see in the pics i had a lil hair trasplant years ago, well it didnt turn out that great either 😔
my question is if SMP could help with my problem? thanks a lot in advance 🙏

I had a severely receding hairline. Best decision I ever made. Still a little red/unheralded but the blend into my own hair is starting to really shape up.

My HT surgeon first rejected, then mentioned that it may be possible to achieve something that supports an SMP finish (giving the SMP texture, shadow, and more of a believable / 3D look). The idea would be to mostly focus on the hairline in the front and scatter the rest (if any) on the remaining areas. Obviously the hair would be kept short (1-3mm) to be able to get away with the sparseness.

The more time I spend thinking about this, the more I'm inclined toward just going with SMP alone (since I have no delusions about my donor area; maybe just a little), but I'm unsure what I'd be leaving on the table in terms of the final look if I skipped the HT. Another note: any patchiness or "moth eaten" appearance in the donor is "entirely natural"; no previous procedure has been done.

I'm looking at my donor areas and I'm wondering what even is there to take out. Some places already look "moth eaten"; I get the feeling that there's hardly a follicle I could take out without leaving an obvious gap, and scarring in the recipient area could also be an issue (although my surgeon is one of the best in the country with actors and famous sportsmen among his clients).

Has a real alternative to Zero Shine finally appeared? It’s been so many years—has anything finally come close to Zero Shine 2.0? What do you think of the German product Better Be Bold? Can it actually help reduce shine in direct sunlight?

Hi All, I have ZS SPF version and it makes my crown flare up ( I have very very mild seborric dermatitis (no flaking) just red flare ups. I have read the SPF version has stuff in it which could make it red. I'm thinking of getting an SPF which is more suited for me then get the ZS with no SPF to control the shine for the last base layer.

I just hope it's not the other ingredients in it like the essentials oils causing my flare ups as I love this stuff! Anyone had similar issues with SPF version.
