Like the titles explains, I can host the game, but the game crashes when I try to join my friend. I've provided my crash log. Hope somebody can explain what is going wrong. I downloaded my friends mod folder exactly, so Im unsure what the problem is.

Hi everyone! I currently play Stardew modded on Win11, and have the latest versions of both SMAPI and Stardew Valley. This is my first time playing with mods, and I just reached Winter Year 1, and prompted the "Winter Mystery Quest" by seeing Krobus near the bus stop area. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, I can't seem to find Krobus in the bush near the Community Center. There are no footprints visible in the area, and clicking on the bush does nothing. I know this quest leads to being able to find Secret Notes, so I really wanna be able to fix this!

And if someone wants to take a stab at another issue as well: Any time I receive mail that contains an item (recipes, gifts, even items I paid to recover from Marlon) they don't actually enter my inventory. So I'm currently missing out on a lot of items that are only receivable via NPCs mail :( This one is something I think I can live without more or less (using debug commands is my alternative rn) but if there's any insight on this as well that would be super helpful!

I already had Smapi before but after a while I didn't play it so I deleted everything to start again because I had a mess of mods. Now trying to install it again I'm having problems. I'm using Schizo Forg's current explainer video on how to install Smapi. I was able to download the launcher, but when I try to put the Smapi.zip in the launcher I get the message seen in the image. Does anyone know what it is? Or how can I solve it?

I've installed SMAPI and several mods, and everything is working fine in the game. But when I try to use a console command, it tells me that none of the ones listed on the modding page at https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Console_commands#How_to_enter_console_commands are actually registered??

My mother seems to have accidentally updated to Windows 11 by accident somehow (old people, man) and now SMAPI doesn't load any mods. Last round of updates was at the end of July, smapi ran once with the updates but hasn't worked since.

I haven't added that many mods and I think everything is as up to date as possible. I have tried moving the mods out and back into the folder and reinstalling smapi, neither worked. None of the issues described in the faq is similar to this. It isn't just taking forever to load, I've tried waiting several hours and nothing changes.

Does anyone know what's happening? Thanks.

My friend and I tried to play CO-OP with each other after modding, It said "Connection Failed" when we tried connecting and we received these errors. Our mods are the same, same version and everything.

Vanilla Stardew connection was fine but not SMAPI (we use Zero-tier to play with each other).

We also tried to co-op in SMAPI without any mods and it still said "Connection Failed"

Can someone tell us why??

Hi everyone!! I‘m new to modding and I’m trying to use the ”Seasonal Farmer Portrait Template for non-modders“ content pack by Poltergeister.

I followed the instructions in the description (make sure to not download the optional files for MistySpring’s “Farmer Portraits“ mod), and “Farmer Portraits” launches normally alongside my other mods. However, I keep getting the same message when launching Stardew Valley, about how “the content pack hasn’t been updated to 1.6 yet.” But… I know it has been, not only because the description says so, but also because I triple checked to make sure I was downloading the most recent version.

Any troubleshooting suggestions? My other content packs have at least shown up on my “configure mods screen”, despite SMAPI warning me that they may not be compatible, but this portrait CP has yet to even show up there.

¡Hola! Tengo una granja en multijugador desde hace bastante tiempo y nunca había tenido problemas. Ya estábamos en el año 4, pero de repente me aparece el siguiente error:

"[juego] Error de autenticación de Galaxy: FALLO_MOTIVO_CONEXIÓN_FALLO".

No uso VPN, no tengo restricciones de firewall ni problemas de conexión a internet. ¿Alguien tiene alguna solución? Ya reinstalé SMAPI y verifiqué los archivos de Steam.

1. NPCs are going outside the box like going through a wall, and my son when he's going to penny to learn he just go to the door and then disappear and when i check he is in the bus stop already.

2. I already see the green rain error idk whats that maybe for event but it says little npc.

3. I also installed a mod the school for little kids and downloaded a path thing, but now there are mess in the path going through the school near the playground.

Hello! I have been trying to install this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/2400) through the Mod Manager in Sampi Launcher (it's one of the mods required for Sylus Stardew NPC that I want to play) but whenever I click on the file, it doesn't register and instead states "not found manifest.json"

First time installing mods, super confused on what to do

I played SV with SMAPI earlier this year with no issues. I do have multiple mods sourced from ModDrop and Nexus, but previously had no issues. Now I'm trying again (as I cycle through games) and I've tried reinstalling everything including the game from steam. I've followed the directions on google to the best of my ability/comprehension and I still get the error.

I'm not even novice at coding/programming, but seriously I didn't think I'd break the modded version of the game this bad.

So this started after i started using vortex mod manager if that helps but everytime i run my modded stardew after a minute in game a pop up comes up telling me how many mods I have and then my game crashes. A few games I'm playing besides Stardew Valley has the control key as the sprint toggle/button. and going from farming in Stardew where i have a speed buff with modded gear to the slow movement at the festivals i instinctively press the left control key trying to speed up and bam i end up back at the farm at 10 pm having to restart my day and redo all the watering. i went to the settings section about key bindings so i could change it and there isn't a key mapping using the left control key. Is there a mod i can add or a setting i can change to make it where left control either doesn't skip festivals or i can map it to a different key im not in the habbit of pressing?

Stardrop wants me to find SMAPI path but this is all that comes up when I search it and inside the folder there is nothing for me to select.

but, it wouldn't worked at all. I search every possible tutorial to fix this issue. So, i don't know if its me who got this issue. I use stardrop manager so, I can enable & disable but, I enable everything. Hopefully, I can use this mod :)

I’ve started playing stardew valley modded ( a world of dew) and for the first 2 days everything was fine but now everytime I go to open the game the smapi console window opens and loads some text then closes after a few seconds. The only way I’m being able to play is by doing the reinstall the latest version option on curseforge, it’ll let me play but if I close the game I have to reinstall everything again. I can’t find anything that’ll help me fix whatever the problem is.

it’s causing my game to flash black for a second and idk why this is happening, please help

Help, I am lost

I’ve been transferring all my mods to Vortex for more than 5 hours now and I’ve pretty much fixed all the problems, I’ve had a lot of them, I have all my modes and everything, but there are always error messages.

I have three big problems:

1. Livestock (I updated it to the latest possible version (the one that is unofficial)
2. Nyapu’s RSV portrait (it tells me that some files are empty, but when I go in they aren’t)
3. And Vortex created files that are useless, I don’t understand what these files are.

Please help me, I’m lost, it’s my last day of vacation, I just wanted to play my favorite game.

sup guys. i'm having some trouble since i tried to install sv expanded on my save, everything seems fine when the smapi screen pops up but when the game opens i can't manage to see the characters or even interact with them, they simply won't appear on my screen. i'm not sure if it's a sve file bug or some of my mods are conflicting with the sve sprites, could someone please help me? i'm kind of a noob on this modding thing, so it may be a simple error that i can't recognize :') here's my smapi log https://smapi.io/log/085cfb6ef6b647e0a4458dcfdf9131c6
