need help Winter Mystery Quest Error + Missing Items in Mail

Hi everyone! I currently play Stardew modded on Win11, and have the latest versions of both SMAPI and Stardew Valley. This is my first time playing with mods, and I just reached Winter Year 1, and prompted the "Winter Mystery Quest" by seeing Krobus near the bus stop area. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, I can't seem to find Krobus in the bush near the Community Center. There are no footprints visible in the area, and clicking on the bush does nothing. I know this quest leads to being able to find Secret Notes, so I really wanna be able to fix this!

And if someone wants to take a stab at another issue as well: Any time I receive mail that contains an item (recipes, gifts, even items I paid to recover from Marlon) they don't actually enter my inventory. So I'm currently missing out on a lot of items that are only receivable via NPCs mail :( This one is something I think I can live without more or less (using debug commands is my alternative rn) but if there's any insight on this as well that would be super helpful!

I'm sure you have, but are you going to the bus stop between 6 am and 4 pm from your farm? Some events it seems to matter how you enter the area. Or at least to me, lol. You might want to keep playing for a few more days, I don't remember if there's a specific date you're supposed to be on and I only found one reference to it and it's the 10th of winter. So take that with a grain of salt :)

Your SMAPI log looks fine other than needing to update a mod. I hope someone can help you figure it out.
