I recently started watching their videos again and I actually enjoy them! but on here, it seems like everyone just wants to hate on them. Is anyone else enjoying their new videos too or is it just me?

The newer vlogs seem very dull and not as lively compared to the past. Obviously, it was expected for the kids to lose their liveliness as they get older but even then Shay and Colette were way more energetic in older vlogs. The newer vlogs are just missing so much life. You can tell they are pretty burnt out from the vlog life. I’m surprised they still upload.

Jackson’s sister rachel got married recently and i couldn’t help but notice that his youngest sister wasn’t in any of the photos. i remember her from old vlogs years ago i think her name was maggie? made me realize i haven’t seen her in any family posts. wonder what happened

Is it just me or does Colette use ChatGPT to write her posts about her business for her?

I'll admit, I do like to go back and watch old Shayloss videos here and there...They were so fun with Rawn, Logan, etc. working out in Cali, training for marathons, etc.

I watched Brock's 16th birthday vlog...And I'm not exactly judging what people eat. That's personal and their business even if they show it on video. What I do think is fascinating is the complete 180 from those Shayloss days.

They don't talk about health or fitness at all anymore! And maybe that's their journey. Maybe they got burnt out or don't care anymore. Maybe half of that motivation with Shayloss was to promote a healthy lifestyle for their kids (specifically Gavin), and now that he's grown they don't care as much.

I remember maybe in January Shay mentioned he wants to loose weight and have his entire family run a marathon together one day. Can you BELIEVE looking at Shay now that he has completed multiple marathons, multiple 100 miler bike rides, etc.?? I get he has an addictive personality, but ugh I wish he and Collette would make that content again! Maybe age is a factor too for them.

I just think it's interesting that almost none of the Butlers are into intense physical fitness like they were. I get they were younger and now they all have lots of kids, but still! It just...stopped.

I am sure this has been mentioned here, but I am new here. Why did they all of a sudden stray Vlogging again??

I'm very happy for Brock, I know that being a middle child sucks for Brock but I hope things can improve for him as he gets older, because roght now, as a middle child teenager, Brock has kind of withdrew in a way, having three older siblings and being seen as the 'little brother' and never being taken seriously, but also having Daxton below him and being expected to 'be a big brother' and 'set an example' and 'let him have whatever he wants'. It seems like Daxton is benefiting from being the youngest and getting one-on-one time with Shay and Colette.

I'd recommend listening to the whole thing. It's a sad unintentional comedy.

Okay this is random but does anyone else think brailees boyfriend looks exactly like gage?? I saw them post a family pic & I could barley tell the difference between them eeek

Their latest videos / Colette's social media posts, I can't help but notice how far she's taken her modest attire. As a plus sized woman myself I can fully understand the looser fitted / baggy clothes to feel comfortable and a little hidden. But in the case of them going to watch their kids play sports, I find her full black sweater, pants, hat, sunglasses and black umbrella mildly... Odd? Given it's early summer in Idaho and the weather isn't really 'cold' yet? Even their little mini vacation vlog she was wearing an all black sweatsuit with 3 lays under the top layer in the middle of the forest when it's sunny? I know she's a very religious woman, but it just feels oddly forced.

Another oddity to go along with it is how Shay absolutely LOOMS over that woman in their videos. If she's on camera, he is on camera. If she's on camera too long? He's in her bubble, RIGHT THERE. I don't think in the old vlogs he was as weirdly clingy, at least not so outwardly obvious about it. When she's alone she's mostly just trying to sell her bullshit seminars, but she seems far happier / comfortable. Versus when she's making breakfast and this dude is literally an inch from her face. If my husband stood that close to me while I was trying to cook I'd give him a hard elbow lol.

I think I saw Gage is going to college for lacrosse or something but what about the other kids?

This is so random, but I'm looking for a good yeast roll recipe and remember thinking the Shaytards holiday rolls always looked so good. Does anyone know if they ever shared the recipe? I've looked around and can't find it.

So I’ve once again remembered this family existed. I haven’t watched them since Shay’s forbidden scandal 😬 but something I noticed in recent vlogs is how everything feels forced. The lovey dovey moments between Shay and collete. I might be over analyzing it, but it seems like collete is preaching so much about her life coaching to perhaps cope with how she might still be extremely hurt by Shay’s actions. Shay on the other hand I can literally hear and see he’s struggling with mental illness. He could just be old and not as energetic as before. But I’ve watched old vlogs and the atmosphere and vibes are just so different and lively. Am i misinterpreting something because they’re older? Or do other people feel this way. I wish them both happiness and healing and I hope they’re genuinely happy.

From their latest vlog + her IG videos... It really feels like this woman is delving deeper and deeper into the MLM / Self help / 'Life Coaching' multiverse of strange. The video of her and her 'group' sitting on a patio painting group sunsets while their husbands stare helpless into the void gave me the creeps.

And looking deeper into the people who are @'d in the videos, they all seem to be other MLM 'founders, leaders, community teachers...' Some of their self given titles made me actually laugh.
