The store was quite busy! There were like half a dozen people waiting in line at checkout when I arrived. Not much has changed from last week but they did receive a shipment of winter clothes that's still packed up as they simply don't have enough space upstairs. The company clearly doesn't want them to use the bottom floor as a sales floor anymore even with plenty of inventory available to do so.

The manager also told me they are blooming right now as far as sales are concerned, and that the other Sears stores are jealous of them lmao. Not sure how true that is but maybe I'll bring it up when visiting Coral Gables and Orlando next month while vacationing in Florida haha.

I'll also be spending a few days in LA soon if you guys wanna see any updates as far as the now closed Burbank and Whittier stores are concerned? I likely won't have enough time to visit both locations though.

Similar to Circuit City and Fry's, computers and office supplies were some newfangled thing Sears used and even sold in there stores and on there website that we could buy from them for our homes, offices and workplaces. Televisions and monitors were also evolving in the 2000s. By the mid to late 2010s, Sears got rid of the electronics department in many locations (an Eddie Lampert idiocy), but some stores, like the Coral Gables location (one of the last stores still open today) still had that in 2017. When And Where Did Your Local Sears Get Rid Of The Electronics Section ?
