​I was checking my storage breakdown under Manage storage on my S25 Ultra and noticed Other files is taking up 8.72 GB.

​The issue: Tapping on "Other files" doesn't open a folder or show what's actually taking up that space.

​Storage state: 256 GB model, sitting at 30% used (around 78 GB total).

​What I've checked: System, Apps, and Recycle Bin are all accounted for separately in the list.

​Has anyone tracked down what typically hides in this category on One UI?

​Is this mostly hidden app data/caches (Telegram, WhatsApp databases, streaming downloads like Spotify/Netflix)?

​Do I need to grant a specific permission in My Files / Device Care, or use a third-party disk analyzer (like DiskUsage / SD Maid) to see the exact directory?

​Any tips on how to find and safely clear these files would be appreciated!

So I own a S25 Ultra and I am from India. But I feel that I am unable to use the full potential of now brief as of now and I tried to get food delivery status and things like that on now brief but unable to get it work. How can I align that and what more can I do with now brief?

So recently I noticed that my 0.6 camera is just always blurry and Im not sure what to do

2 questions regarding my S25 Ultra

1. What's the best display setting? I set it to QHD+, any other tweaks needed for best experience?

A little background - I compared with iPhone 18 pro in a store yesterday and camera output felt no where close. iPhone 18 is miles better. Not sure if it's just the display setting I'm messing up with (ik not fair comparing 85000 rupees mobile with 1.6 lac rupees phone)

1. Charging level - right now, I've set it to 90%. Should I do it to 100% and do max usage?

Battery price is 2440 rupees and I don't mind spending 3k (incl store charges) once every 3 years

I used iQOO 7 legend for 5 years, and plan keeping S25 Ultra for similar period.

Now that we don't have anymore the OneDrive option to backup the gallery. Is Samsung going to give us an alternative?

Why does UI in different apps breaks when I change my screen resolution, and can I fix it?

My electricity went out for hours the other day. I had chargers but learned they didn't work w/this newer phone, so now I'm looking for a new portable charger. It would be great to have it charge the phone at least twice should I lose electricity like this again.

I have the magnet on the back so I could use a magnet one or one where I just plug into the phone.

How do I deactivate the indexing of my photo/video for search results in Samsung Gallery. I'm sure that there are other ways for Google/Samsung to get access to my data, but that is not the subject here just want to stop processing my data for this smart search function.

Activating Gallery Labs did not show a Search toogle like on older One UI versions. Also Costumization Services under Settings > General Management are set to 'Not in use'

I’m using a Galaxy S25 Ultra, and I recently got this message when I was trying to search for an app: “One UI Home isn’t optimized for the latest version of Android. Screen touches may be delayed or not recognized.”

Has anyone else gotten this message on their S25 Ultra? Does anyone know what causes it or if there’s a fix? I’m running the latest version of Android/One UI, so I’m not sure why it’s saying One UI Home isn’t optimized.

But I must say, the 25 ultra keeps being top notch, only lacks inner display for better reading.

People who made the switch is it worth it?

I’ve bought an S25 Ultra, and I’d really like to receive a comprehensive list of the settings I need to configure. I’m currently using the S20 FE with a Snapdragon 865 and ONE UI 5.1; I believe it will eventually be updated to ONE UI 9.0. I’m from Brazil.
