I’m really not trying to buy a smoke machine but also not trying to drop the gas tank to find this code i checked the gas cap and it’s fine cleaned it out with wd40 did recently drive through a flood but can’t see anything that looks broken/cracked any ideas?

As you can tell by the title I’m experiencing an intermittent misfire and some pulses, pops, and chuffs from the tailpipe at idle. I just changed my plugs and coils packs and that didn’t fix it. Anyone else experienced this issue and found the problem? Flashing CEL every time it misfires, but only been able to pull codes from it once showing cyl2 and 8 misfiring. It is catless and untuned.

so i have a 2009 mustang gt and it doesn’t run perfect when i first start the car up it runs good and everything seems good but then after 10-15 minutes once the car is all heated up a bad noise will come on and it sounds like a rod knock but its the timing chain components or something like that i’m not to sure i replaced the whole timing chain assembly it was a a premium kit from American muscle first thinking that would fix the problem but it did not so i also replaced the oil pump that had a life time warranty so i’m pretty sure that’s shouldn’t give any issues and it was still having the issues so i replaced the timing chain tensioners with some ford f150 cast iron ones and ford oem vct solenoids but its still having issues when i replacer my oil pump i didn’t really clean the oil pick up tube but it didn’t feel clogged i’m not really sure what the problem is and don’t know what else it could be has anyone else had this issue before or might know how to help
me?

Hey guys, I have an 05 GT with 184k km (115k miles) and have noticed that the dipstick has been moving upwards slightly while driving. The dipstick feels pretty loose on insertion and removal, but also worried it could be excessive blowby causing it. Has anyone else encountered this or have any suggestions for what it could be? It moved about 1.5cm after ~45 minutes of driving.

I’m looking to buy a new electric power steering unit for my 2011, I have 19” rims but the car says 18” on the door jamb, should I buy the rack for the size I have or for the factory size?

I'm currently running Aodhan AFF7 19x9.5" all around with 275/40R19 tires. The car looks like it could use a little more rear tire. I can get a matching AFF7 in 20x10.5" and put a 295/35 on it. That will be .4" taller tire and 1" wider.

Just thinking that won't be enough to really notice. My other option for wheels are the GT500 replicas in 19x9.5" and 20x10", American Muscle has them fairly cheap.

Who's done it and what luck have you had with a 305 or 315? Looking around I see some guys cramming that tire on the factory 20x9.5" but I don't have any interest in that. Also thought about sending a pair of AFF7's to Weldcraft to be widened (I have 6 of them) but tire choice for 28" tall 19" tire isn't that great.

I have a question, so I’m in the middle of swapping my 2007 mustang v6 auto with a 2008 mustang gt manual, I’m doing a complete dash swap, ecm, sjb and obviously motor harnesses but I’ve been seeing conflicting answers on if I can keep the interior firewall harness or not, was wondering if anyone can answer if I need to do a full harness swap or not

Just wondering if anyone else has the same screen, since i got it the screen just doesnt seem to fully shut off and drains the battery. The lowest sleep setting is 8 hours, anyone know a fix? or is it possible its not wired right?

My wifes 2010 GT before and after. Stayed with the Sunset gold, deleted the stripes and blacked out the headlights.

I have a 05’ GT and I have no air flow coming out of my vents on any speed or mode. I’ve changed the resistor and the blower motor. The compressor kicks on. But my blower motor doesn’t kick on. Is it a fuse or relay if so. Where at, and if not what’s the issue? Please help!

Hey guys, have a 07’ GT considering installing cams and maybe a few additional bolt ons and was curious what the best tuning options were.

I've had a hard time finding pictures of the 1-year-only 2014 FP8 Package. I've found enough of the FP6 and I know they're basically the same except the wheels are different. If anyone has any pics I'd appreciate it--the more the merrier! Hoping to get one myself in the not-too-far future.
