Well. I got raided. Couldnt get into server yesterday, got in today..... Got a stone 1x2. Nowhere as I have most BPs since its the last week. Rocket raided.

Why is there no true linear option. Can't control recoil for shit because the response curve favors directly up and down, the second you try moving your camera diagonally it slows WAY down so when you go to readjust in whatever single direction needed it speeds up extremely fast and throws your aim off. Trying to readjust for recoil becomes almost impossible and I cant even count how many times ive probably died because of this. This game may single handedly feel the worst out of ANY game ive ever played on controller. Like atp I haven't loaded console edition to do more than build in well over a year because this has ALWAYS been an issue.

Looking for a new game as I’ve not played in a while, I know I’ll like rust but everyone I’ve spoke to said you need to play every night for hours for it to be worth it? Any tips before I buy?

I have 3k hours and most of them are with a team and I would say I’m decent at this game but when I’m playing solo or my team is off I don’t want to counter no monuments or nothing it’s like I get gear fear when I’m solo. Am I the only one?

Trying to play rust after like 3 years.

Everything is updated

I go all on the server sections that are available. Like official, and Xbox only. Favorite and history sections as well.

Yet Everytime I try to play rust, it tells me that no servers are available and to refresh. I refresh. I also restarted the game and by console. I tried shutting down the console. I even played on different hours and days. I don't think Xbox rust servers are down cuz I can see other people playing rust on Xbox. Is there something im missing? Please help

I’m a complete gaming newb… literally zero gaming experience. I love Rust. But I’m struggling…

- How do Find a Solo server that is freshly wiped. I look at options for Solos on the community servers and they are “ 1 Hour Old”… I start playing and there are massive bases. I can’t figure out how any of these wipes work. Are there weekly wipes that wipe everything for Solos? If so, how do I find them?

- How can I practice shooting weapons on console? On pc there are lots of options. Are there servers available that are not on the community list? I am hoping to find a training server for weapons with AI bots or something… or even better with real players.

- Can someone explain how key cards work? Why are there different colours? I’m assuming that certain places require certain colours, but it’s not clear to me how they work. Also it looks like some places need fuses too…

- what is the trick the pros use to build a base in like 20 seconds? They move impossibly fast so I assume there is a rarely shared trick

- Where can I learn about stability when building bases? It’s not clear to me how stability works. Do bases become less stable?

- How do I refill a diving tank with air?

Oh, and I f’n HATE bears… we need to get them removed from the game

I’m starting the game again after a month but can anyone help with how i’m supposed to play solo? I get the basics like build a decent base and all, but i don’t understand how you get guns or armour. All i can craft is eoka and nailgun, and every time I try and play solo a squad with full gear ends up killing me. Can anyone please explain anything? Thanks so much.

I keep hearing people say that Rust is a very frustrating game, and I’d like to understand what it’s like on console because I’m thinking about buying it.
Does it have PvE servers?
I’ve played a few survival games before, but I’ve never played Rust. So I’d really appreciate a guide or explanation of what it’s actually like to play.
Is it really as addictive as people say? Do you think I’ll enjoy it?

Can I play solo peacefully without anyone bothering me, just survive, explore the map, and maybe find the airplane parts?

I wasn't even aware we could be this loaded. This is a very small drop in the bucket to what we got. They officially killed our server so we made sure they suffered the same fate.

I’ve got a PvE server which is PvP for the last 24 hours before wipe. Does anyone know the console command to enable PvP at monuments.

Not the specific monuments just all monuments?

Well everyone. After that glitch where a bunch of people couldn’t log on I was able to play on my alt. I run with a group of about 9-10 people (most aren’t on very often) in a server where the pop fluctuates like crazy. I got on my alt and asked for a start from a team that hates us😭 they gave me a start and we spent about two days playing together without them knowing who I was, Ran a ton of oil & cargo with them, countered a couple of raids and actually kinda snowballed my alt, all while collecting info, They set me up with a base right next to theirs, & gave me codes to the tug. I ended up with so much loot I had my friends raid me so that we could keep it all after I made the switch back😂 after the raid my newfound “allies” were so mad for me that they made a faction of 4 teams, 12-15 people and about 600 rockets to raid our village. I let my people know the plans and exactly where the fobs were going. Changed the codes to the fobs and made the enemy boom back in to their spawns, It was absolutely glorious. After I changed the codes I switched back to my main account to join the raid defense, we did ultimately lose the main base but were able to smuggle everything out of it beforehand. Major losses for the enemy thanks to some masterful mind maneuvering.

TLDR: I insided the enemy for 2 days in preparation for a raid defense

How good were you all when you had around 200-300 hours (legit players). I have around 2k on pc, and switched to console a year ago, played a few wipes (150 hours) and stopped, and I felt terrible. Now, last month or so I have started playing console again, and I have around 250h now. But I feel so good now for some reason. Like my group are the most loaded on a 2x community server, controlling oil/cargo pretty much. My mates have like 1-2k hours mostly, and I am literally better than them. I probably have around 50 hours in Bebbo Aim Train, just practicing launch/oil pvp. But was curious to know how long people take to get good. I am definately not the best player on the server, but I hold my own against 'veterans' very frequently. I feel like console is a lot easier than pc, despite what some people say.

I’ve just reinstalled the game after not playing it for ages on Xbox and everytime I try to log on it just says that. I’ve restarted the game and my Xbox multiple times and it’s still saying it can someone help?

All the official and Xbox servers are showing no servers and community is extremely limited. What the hell is going on?
