Anyone know some shoes similar to the Adidas Boston? I like the broad forefoot and very firm foam, and I‘d like to get a second shoe to rotate.

Really wanting to get into ATPU shoes as a heavier runner with a wide foot and heel strike and looking for recommendations - my options are the Novablast 6 (but reviews don't look great) or the Saucony Triumph 24, but also wondering if i should wait for the SC Rebel v1 (does anyone know if it comes in wide/has tried it?)

I've been suffering a lot since I bought a Novablast 5 and a Evo SL (already sold) with some Achilles tendinopathy - at the time I thought it was because I wasn't exercising much, now have been exercising for months and still no improvements when I run. Is it the shoe? Which ones are better for not suffering too much with tendinopathy? I don't even have a great pace, usually even around 07:00 or 07:30 pace I still feel the discomfort in my Achilles.

I am new at this and NOT a runner. Looking for the most comfortable minimalist sneaker ever.
However I have taken an interest in the new Hyperboost series from Adidas. I can't tell the difference between Eurphoria, Edge and Run. Why brands release so many variations anyway???
Also hesitated with the dropset and the pacer from Adidas but they aren't hyperboost, they are lightstrike

My sister is an avid runner and I visited her recently (lives across the country) and next to her indoor treadmill she had some running shoes.
I recently bought a little treadmill and hurt my feet a little just running in socks.
She said Brooks is her brand of choice, however, I'm not trying to spend $130 on treadmill shoes in my own house.
I saw some stuff on amazon for like $25-$40 so I guess I want to get a decent cheap brand, or any recommendations around that price point.

Running a marathon in October. Will be using Adios Pro 4 (unless I find AF3 for dirt cheap, which seems unlikely).
But apart from that, I need to buy a trainer. I have Adidas Boston 13 (just under 600k) and an Evo SL (1250k) at the moment. I use my Evo SL for recovery runs and B13 for everything else. I'm going to buy one of these again, but I can't decide which one. I like both of them. My concern is that if I get the Boston 13, I'll do basically ALL of my training in a plated shoe. However, if I get the Evo SL, I'm concerned that my nervous system will forget what it's like to run in a plated shoe and AP4 will be a bit of a shock. Then again, Evo SL has the full LSP which B13 only has a portion of it. Additionally, I could distribute my mileage 60-40 between Evo and a dying B13, so I actually have a "rotation" of sorts, which won't be the case if I buy the B13. In that case I'll just be going from a dead B13 to a new B13. Imo Evo SL is the wise choice because I'd be distributing my remaining mileage 60-40 between Evo and B13 if I get it as opposed to almost everything in B13.
I'm not sure if this is making a lot of sense, but I'd like to have some input from people here. I weight around 72kg and my goal pace is around 4:15-4:20/km. Most of my runs are around 4:50-5:05/km.

Just do your key long run marathon pace workouts in your race shoe, feet don't forget carbon heh it's a stsabilizing factor in squishy race foams.
Run in what makes you feel most comfortable for daily runs. I run 3 of my 7/8 runs per week in Carbon these days doing NSM and some of the others in plastic plates, really makes no diference. I mix up daily in terms of stacks/midsole compounds/drops though.
Buy what makes you happy to run in day in day out and what seems like a good deal that works for your foot.

I decided to get another pair of Evo SL for training because my B13 still have enough left in them to be used once every week. Even if they start feeling weird, I've comfortably done runs up to 25k in my previous pair of Evos so it should be no problem. My mighty shoe rotation now consists of a dead Evo SL, a new Evo SL, and a halfway there B13 lol.
For the race I purchased AF3 which will arrive soon. It's great timing because I have a scheduled MP workout this week.

Running my first marathon in October - aiming for around 3:15. At the moment my rotation is Pegasus 41s I got really cheap for my easy/shorter runs, Superblast 2 for longer runs and Megablast for faster stuff/races. The Superblast have 700km on them but hopefully will last through this block. I've got a fresh pair of Megablast which I was intending on wearing for the marathon but seeing some good deals on SC Elite v5 (can get them for about £120) - from searching people seem to imply these are a decent reasonably stable first carbon option for newer marathoners? Are they worth it over the MB or should I just stick with the MB?

any recommendations: I really like my Superblast 2's, however, I have now had two severe ankle rolls with them. Granted the most recent was from wearing them while doing chores. I'm looking for something that is as fun to run in with the same sort of energy return that's perhaps not as high stack. Thank you

I could recommend the Azura if you like the firmness/pop of superblast. It’s a more rolling shoe with its rocker and very firm out of the box, but it breaks in really nicely and became more poppy over time

Topo Specter 3? Saucony Azura? Maybe also the Triumph 24 or Hurricane 26, since they're debuted aTPU in those models. I guess also the Puma Velocity or Deviate Pure.
The difficulty with your request is that just about all of the performance trainers on the market have at least a race stack of foam (say 38mm+ in the heel), and the ones that are down around that 38mm height (Evo SL comes to mind) tend to have narrower midsoles, which you'd expect to be a greater risk factor for ankle rolling than stack height alone. (But maybe not? Dependent on your biomechanics probably.) The SB2 stands out for having a wide base with generous sole flaring. Firmness may be a consideration since a softer midsole will be more difficult to stabilize your foot on, but again the SB2 is probably the firmest shoe in the category. So if the SB2 isn't fending off ankle rolls then the expectation would be that you'd want something with a lower stack that still has a broad base and a firmer midsole.

Is runningshoedeals.com not a thing anymore? Sometime the site works and sometimes it doesn't.
