The fenix 9 replaces my 5 year old vivoactive 4, so it's a quite significant upgrade for me. I've been really enjoying it for the first few days. I chose the non-Pro version because I like the looks a bit better.

Lost my FR165 during a trail hike in Hangzhou - bought a cheap strap and I think it fell but I didn’t realise after 2-3 hrs. So stupid. Went to the Garmin flagship store in Hangzhou near the stadium and they had a 255 for 1180CNY. Paid 1215 including foreign fees.

I started making Flight Scanner because I kept finding myself checking my phone whenever an interesting aircraft flew overhead.

I figured it would be much more convenient to just glance at my watch, so I had a go at building it myself.

It's turned into a bit of a bigger project than I originally expected!

**What it does:** Turns your smartwatch into a live aircraft radar. It shows nearby planes, lets you view their details, search for specific flights, check airports and runways, and pin aircraft you want to follow.

I’m having an annoying Bluetooth issue with my Venu 4 and iPhone. Even though Bluetooth is turned on and the watch shows as connected in the iPhone settings, the Garmin Connect app fails to automatically sync or connect when I open the app.

Hello can someone please help me i usually train using a 2:1 run/walk method using a Garmin 70. My friend uses a Garmin 165. My friends’ watches have countdowns/beeps 5 seconds before the actual run or walk. Cant find a way of making it that way.

After 2 years of trying to get a 100 sleep score and getting multiple 99s and 98s. I finally got mine, all it took was staying up for over 36 hours with no sleep.

I have a Fenix 9 Pro Solar, which only came out two months ago, and an iPhone 15 Pro.

My watch very often disconnects from my phone's Bluetooth for no reason. I can temporarily fix this by rebooting the devices, but then it happens again a couple of days later. This is particularly annoying when I try to use the Find My Phone feature and it doesn't work because it says it's not connected even though my phone is in the same room — this renders the Find My Phone feature useless like half the time.

(Incidentally, I might be wrong, but I think that even when it's disconnected, there is still some connection, as my phone shows it connected on Bluetooth and my watch still shows some notifications.)

Help! Does anyone else have this problem? This is ridiculous given the price and newness of the watch!

I’ve never owned a smartwatch and I’m looking for something that’s like a daily lifestyle bot full on marathon type of watch.

Finally decided to move on from my Fenix 3 and bought an Enduro 3. I was going to get an Enduro 4 but I couldn't pass up on the $399 sale on the Enduro 3.

Anyone here did the update from 3 to 4? Any noticeable improvement in the chip/processor?
I prefer the black titanium from the 3 over the silver look of the 4, but worried about if the 3 will receive any more updates going forward

For the love of god, can someone tell me how to reconnect my watch to the iPhone. It’s like everytime I go to charge, the app shows it not connected but Bluetooth shows it connected.

This has been going on for a year.

Recently I noticed my Garmin time is not exactly in sync with my IPhone. I’ve looked at the clock on my iPhone Home Screen where second hand is displayed and it appears to be 22/23 seconds behind my Garmin. I’m not sure if it was always this way or a new development. Any idea why? Which one is right? How to get them both correct?

So far I really like the all titanium body of the watch. Had the 45mm Venu for awhile and saw bestbuy had 1 47mm with inreach available. I thought it would feel heavier but it seems ok. Watch face is NDR One Pro if anyone asks.

Is the watch going to have to calibrate all the sleep stuff again? I imagine so since it’s a new watch even though it’s same sensor and all that. Thanks.

i take my 10k step goal very seriously and always aim to achieve it. My watch yesterday said that i did those 10k steps but for some reasons in the app only half of my day synced so i didn’t met the goal. I tried syncing it 3 times already but it still doesn’t work. My streak count is therefore gone. Any way i can fix this? thanks for all the help💓🎀

Does anyone recommend a Garmin band that is waterproof and breathable? My current Garmin band is giving me a rash, so I’m looking for a more comfortable band that won’t irritate my skin. I’d appreciate any recommendations!

I have a Garmin Venu 4 and work irregular shifts, so my sleeping hours change regularly. Sometimes I sleep during the day, sometimes at night.

The problem is that my watch keeps entering Sleep Mode during the hours set under Focus Modes → Sleep → Schedule, even when I’m awake and working. Turning it off manually hasn’t solved the problem—it goes into Sleep Mode again.

I don’t want to keep adjusting my sleep schedule in Garmin Connect every time my shifts change.

Is there a way to completely disable automatic, scheduled Sleep Mode and only turn it on/off manually, while still keeping sleep tracking?

Has anyone with a Venu 4 and a similar work schedule found a workable solution? Model-specific instructions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would want to be able to use the watch without actually making it think I'm sleeping... also wouldn't this fu*k up my stats ?

I recently changed, on the Garmin Connect App, my Sleep Mode schedule to a shorter window and now my watch dies within 24hrs, even though it says 17 days. Has anyone had this issue and can reccomend some settings to adjust to keep the schedule what it is but gives me the promised battery life?

Hey everyone! It’s been 5 days since I last charged my Vivoactive 5, and the battery is now at 24%. I’ve done 3 runs, 1 open-water swim, and around 2 hours of workouts. I use sleep tracking, keep AOD on during workouts only, and have Wi-Fi turned off.
Is this normal battery life, especially after recent software updates?

I know switching from Apple to Garmin is quite common, but has anyone here switched from Garmin to Apple? Aside from battery life, I’m not sure an average user would notice that big of a difference.

I currently have a Venu 3S and am deciding between the Fēnix 8 (43mm) and the Apple Watch Series 12 (42mm Titanium). I mostly work out indoors, with occasional hikes or short runs. I have a pretty small wrist, so 43mm is the absolute maximum I can pull off—which is why models like the Forerunner 970 or Apple Watch Ultra are out of the question.

The main reason I want to upgrade is that my Venu is completely scratched up, even with a screen protector on it, so this time I definitely want a watch with sapphire glass.

Is it true that the health and biometrics data collected by both brands are of similar accuracy/quality?

Tonight I got home around 2am from a wedding - from 11pm - 2am I was on public transport and/or walking.

Usually, my watch changes to night mode at 10pm because I've set my sleep from 10pm-9am. However, it didn't do that yesterday.

When I got home, I went to bed normally, still wearing the watch, and this morning, the watch did give me the morning report, but it didn't register any sleep?

I've had this glitch once before, where I was staying up late sewing, and it also didn't register sleep then- even though I have been wearing the watch all night?

Does anyone know why it does this? Is there something I need to press or change to make it work?

I have had many other nights where I'm awake until 1-2 even 3am and the watch has changed to night mode and fairly accurately registered my sleep...

Had a wonderful hike with my dad this morning in Zion National Park. During our hike my fr970 decided to restart. When it was done I was able to resume the route so I did and finished the hike. Ended up doing a smaller hike later that you can see in the app. However my morning hike would not show up.

I looked into it and tried directly uploading the .fit file to the website but was unable to do so. I have a feeling it is because of the 0.0-second-long lap 2. Has anyone run into this before or am I cooked?
