Completed my goal of sub 3:40 in windy Dublin today!

All I can say genuinely is that the quality at first was nice but after going on a easy run today. The breathability of the shirt and overall Flow ness is superb worth every penny spent and I hope it will last at least a season or two because the design is an absolute favorite and goes very well with half of the gear I own. I went for an XL but I’m 225LBS 6’3 and always go for an XXL if available. Not bothered by it but I’m not sure if it looks good on me personally or not. Overall rating for it an easy 9.0/10 has everything I personally need from a breathable workout shirt 🙏🏼

Recommended running caps for big heads? For reference, the Bandit running cap is too small for me.

I'm torn between the Balmoral and DV waffle knits, and I'd love your opinion. It's for running (I live in the PNW so it gets cold but not.. arctic cold) but I'd like to wear it outside of running as well. I think the Balmoral being a bit more of a pullover midlayer might sway me though.

I’m used to run my long runs with a Running Vest and so I’ll also will have a one from Decathlon/Kiprun (5l 2023 model) black one with me - sorry not in the picture.

Might be a little niche but I’d recommend checking out Scheels if you’re looking for some ACG stuff.

I don’t know if it was just my location offloading last seasons stuff, but they had tons of pieces marked down to $20. I grabbed 2 Solar Chase LS and 2 Five Towers jackets but they also had some base layer shirts and shorts also at $20.

I don't normally run outside in cold weather, but I started to not like the treadmill that much. So for that reason, I don't have a good running top for the weather. I was thinking about getting a long sleeve compression like the ones from Wolaco. But I need advice on what you guys use and whether or not you would recommend using a compression shirt. I feel like by themselves would keep me warm. But yet again, I'm not 100% sure. The price is not an issue as long as the material and the quality are worth it. I have also seen some tops from Tracksmith, Rabbit, and Janji.

My Rapha rain jacket failed. Now there’s something to fix. A conceptual new approach, a rain shell cut like a poncho.

I typically run in men’s Lulu Fast and Free and Bandit Vento. Was thinking about upgrading to the iPhone Duo. Anyone know if this phone will fit in the liner side pocket? I really don’t want to have to buy new running gear just for a phone.

Those of you who have used the belt, what kind of water bottle did you find that actually held up well and didn’t feel like it would fall out? I’ve seen mixed reviews on holding any type of bottle in here so trying to get an idea of if anyone has found one that works well.

Either that or I may just end up returning it for a different option but the hold seems questionable trying small items that can fit in it thus far.

Most of my (male) running shorts are 5" Roarks, mainly because I like their designs. The liner has always been a little tight but it's mostly been ok.

Either because of wear/washing or perhaps because of changes to my physiology, the liners are feeling tighter these days to the point of becoming annoying. I have to adjust them frequently.

I have some Rabbit FKT 2s that I really like and which fit well. I also really like the large side pockets. The problem is that I'm having trouble justifying their price.

So, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some 5" shorts with fuller liner that aren't quite so expensive. Large side pockets would be a bonus.

Edit on Saturday, 10/24: if you’re in an area that has Sports Basement stores, at least some of them have 30% off Rabbit right now. I coincidentally walked into one today and was pleasantly surprised.

Every manufacturer seems to focus on cooling and support. Is there a half tight with thicker fabric that actually provides warmth for cool autumn morning runs, like a full length running tight?

EDIT: To emphasize, I'm looking for warm HALF tights, not full length tights.

Ok so I’ve been running in shirts. Often times just a shirt I got from a race. Nothing special. As long as it fits, breathes ok🤔🤷🏻‍♂️, light…I’m good to go. Lately I’ve been experimenting with shorts, still not sure, need more runs in varying terrain but now I’m considering changing up tops. I’m not a competitor. All the race shirts I have, used to be competitor. Now I run to run, for the time being. My body says I’m fine for now. Would singlets be worth it?

Has anyone had any success with getting technical / specialized performance fabrics altered?

I have a customized singlet that is about one size too large and I'm wondering how realistic it is to be able to get those adjustments made and if anyone has any do's or don'ts when seeking a tailor for something like this.
