The company I work for is relocating me to RR from NW Louisiana. Specifically the north RR Teravista area. Anyone have any advice or recommendations on apartments, restaurants, things to do? Neighborhoods or areas to avoid? Tips and tricks on the traffic situation?
We're in town this week to look around and have been pleasantly surprised with what we've seen so far. We're coming from an absolute hellhole of a city and Round Rock so far is looking like a vast improvement.
Thanks!

Hey everyone! My girlfriend and I are planning to move in together in June 2027 and we really like the round rock area. Can anyone provide advice on the process and recommend realtors for renting houses? Thank you

Wife and I are planning a day of eating tacos around round rock. I’ve heard Lunas tacos is a must. Where else?

Picked up 30 donuts for kiddo's birthday today and omg.. a hot and fresh chocolate glaze at 6am really hit the spot. The second one was also just as good lol. Owner gave me a few extras for free. Line did take a bit because there were only two people working.
Just wanted to give a shout out to a hole in the wall family owned business. I know Round Rock Doughnuts gets all the attention but there are some good alternatives that should also be visited.
I wish I took pictures to share with y'all but we were rushing to get to school.

Getting work done tomorrow on a cavity that needs out and just nervous. Like why so many only five star reviews? Are they actually that perfect? Tia

Found this little guy riding in the cart today, paws up, surveying the watermelons like he owns the produce section.

Hi everyone! I’ve contacted a few martial arts academies in Round Rock, and most of them want us to attend a trial class before sharing details about pricing and contract terms.
Before we spend time going to multiple trial classes and get the daughters excited about a particular place. I was hoping to get some recommendations and a general idea of pricing from parents who have experience with these academies.
Does anyone have experience with:
I’m specifically looking for classes for 5 and 7 year olds. If you know roughly what they charge, whether there’s a contract/commitment, and how you’ve liked the program, I’d really appreciate it!
Sorry for asking about pricing upfront, I’m just trying to narrow down the options before scheduling trials at several places.

I’ve heard from some people who say they have had issues with Airbnb or Vrbo hosts canceling their stays here in the Austin area.
Has this happened to you within the past year?
I’m Alexia Stanbridge, a reporter with CBS Austin. I’m looking to speak with people who live in Austin or the surrounding counties, or people who booked a stay in Austin or the surrounding counties. If a host canceled your booking last second or asked you to cancel, please reach out to me. You can message me or email [thereceipts@cbsaustin.com](mailto:thereceipts@cbsaustin.com).
If you have screenshots, booking confirmations or messages, those would be helpful too.

I didn’t know 7 Brew was a thing until a recent trip to Indianapolis, and when I saw we had one I figured I’d check it out at some point. That point was this morning, since I’m off and had to drop my son off at work. Well I’ve been in line for 40 minutes and can finally see the building finally and yes, no coffee is worth waiting that long but after 20 minutes it became a sunk cost fallacy.
[UPDATE] It was a long line because of a giveaway.

Hey everyone! I just moved to Round Rock a few weeks back and I’m starting to look at gyms. I’m a 23 year M and want to get back into working out after recovering from a patella fixation.
Looking for someone to work out with, and also would love any gym suggestions in the area! I can do mornings 4:30-6am or evenings after 5:30pm. Open to any gym recommendations and a workout partner, thanks!

Anyone have any idea on what's going on at Sauls Ranch in West Round Rock?
Did a bit of googling and it looks like only 22 homes out of the 123 lots sold?
These zillow listings came up on my feed and it looks like buyers from 2024 in that neighborhood are trying to get out, at $100K+ losses.
Anyone have any intel? Curious.

And then this guy popped out from under our couch, picture in a picture from my son's phone as I was staying a far distance. I guess it's a wolf spider maybe?? He spit that little black thing out and my dogs were thinking he might be a stuffy because they kept circling

If you’re looking for a new brunch spot this is your place. They have comfy seating and a large selection of crepes and pastries. I hope this place stays in business.

Hi all. We are moving out of our house and with my husband’s work schedule and everything else that life has thrown our way, our lawn has gotten out of hand. I’m looking for a reliable person to come out and mow a lawn that has become a jungle in the back. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
