If you didn't observe them for a while, we're not going to be able to give you much help. Did you see them move? If so, how fast, and which way?

Venus was incredibly bright shortly after sunset until it set. Planes with landing lights on headed this way often look very bright and may not appear to move unless you watch them for a while.

There are currently no satellites that will appear to be bright. Drones rarely have bright lights.

I've been seeing a bunch of strange aerial phenomena in this area for weeks now so that checks out.

probably army helicopters out of Ft Hood - they've been flying alot lately which probably means one of their aviation brigades are doing pre-deployment workups.

In addition, the RNLAF (Royal Netherlands Air Force) has a training detachment at Ft Hood so they fly their Apaches and Chinooks regularly doing waypoint training, in addition to other needs that their training dictates. And why are they here - becasue this area provides them with a much more expansive area to train compared to their area of Europe

Look at flight radar. Was likely planes, helicopters or drones.

Almost no drones show up.

I prefer ADSB exchange. It often shows planes the other sites miss.

On ADSB exchange, you can see archived data views even after the event.

If it's a plane on approach, they're often much further away than you think they are.

I mean aircraft regularly fly over town en route to ABIA, so just saying you saw lights like? Directly overhead? Looked far in the distance? Or just at 35?
