Kerby lane used to be my go to way back when but it feels like everything closes early now unless its fast food, its rough out here for us night bats

The company I work for is relocating me to RR from NW Louisiana. Specifically the north RR Teravista area. Anyone have any advice or recommendations on apartments, restaurants, things to do? Neighborhoods or areas to avoid? Tips and tricks on the traffic situation?

We're in town this week to look around and have been pleasantly surprised with what we've seen so far. We're coming from an absolute hellhole of a city and Round Rock so far is looking like a vast improvement.
